+Giveaway Paranormal, romance - novel TBR reviewer: Luta Wolf ReviewViolet was killed in the prime of her life, the star of a Burlesque club that caught the attraction of a dangerous stalker. Some years later she gets a second chance when an accident leads her into the body of an OD victim. This time around things have to end better, don’t they? To say that I loved this story is putting it mildly. When I was sent the blurb to this book, I was immediately intrigued because I haven’t seen a plot like this ever before and frankly, with the way I read, that about never happens. I found that not only was the plot unique, the characters interesting, but the writing style was absolutely enamoring. The author jumps you back and forth between characters, giving you a well rounded story but it’s done so seamlessly that never once did it come across choppy. As if all that wasn’t enough, the emotional connection between the characters completely got to me and oh wow the sex scenes. I do suggest reading this story late at night with the door locked, children in bed and maybe a radio on to drown out the buzzing sound. I hate reading M/F/M books in which the men stay completely away from each other, it just doesn’t seem realistic that two men would never touch while having sex with the same woman and I almost broke into Hallelujah when the author didn’t fall into this category. The two males may be completely hetro but when their junk touched in their rush to get at Violet there was no gross out moment which actually turned me on more. It’s that whole Real Men syndrome and what woman doesn’t get turned on by true blue alpha men. I’m not recommending or suggesting, I’m telling you to go out and get this book now. I guarantee that you won’t regret it. ExcerptCiprian’s words were cut short as she heaved open the door. His smell hit her first. The musky scent filled her nostrils. But this wasn’t like the scent she sensed as a ghost. It was the scent she was accustomed to times a million. Arousal immediately flooded her body in response to the deeply visceral experience of him standing in front of her. She realized that even though she’d had a little taste of the world around her as an apparition, she had no longer truly experienced it in high-def. It was like watching television on a little thirteen-inch after being used to a fifty-inch flat-screen. She was addicted to the television in the men’s office, clicking the remote one of the few things she felt worth her energy to manifest. Her eyes caught the bright blue of Ciprian’s, and her knees locked into place as she stared up at him. “Gawked” would have probably been a better word. He was a beautiful man. Not beautiful in an effeminate way, but so perfectly male, he was just, well, beautiful. Being in his actual presence, feeling the heat of his body and the aura he exuded, was overwhelming. Tickling tremors raced up her arms and legs as the full impact of being a sentient being hit her with full force. “Are you going to let me in? We need to talk.” His words flooded through her ears, the rich chocolate of his voice oozing over her. She felt the ebb and flow of the little hairs within. This wasn’t life. She had lived once before and felt nothing like this. This time around she was experiencing the world more strongly than she had when she’d been alive. Every nuance of the environment around her was amplified. “Well?” Ciprian stared at her, and she realized she had never responded. Violet couldn’t find her voice, and stepped back, urging him to come in with her splayed hand. As he passed her, the warmth of his body singed her own, and she soaked it in deeply. Flabbergasted, she had one of the two men who had starred in her fantasies for the last few months, and she was panicked. And her stomach felt queasy. That was one part of living she could have done without. Purchase Here (only $3.99)ContestMs. O'Hurley is giving away an ecopy to one lucky winner. Comment below to enter.
