Second Chance Love, is a story about high school sweethearts, Liam and Teegan, whom get a second chance at finding their happily ever after. As teens the two were a dynamic couple with plenty of passion and love. Until Liam’s scheming ex, Lucy gets her hooks in his skin and  trucks him into making the ultimate betrayal.

Deeply wounded, Teegan, leaves town without looking back, and becomes involved in a abusive relationship she can’t seem to get out of. When she returns to her hometown ten years later to get her life back together she’s forced to face the fact that she’s still in love with Liam. Even though Liam feels the same, they have along way to go before they can start over.

Second Chances was a pleasant read, but I was unable to really get into the conflict that was happening. I found a lot of the incidents to be clichéd. IE. The woman Liam was very casually dating yelling at Teegan in a bar about having her sloppy seconds… really? I also found the constant hopping between the past and the present to be a bit off putting. The passages were longer than most flashbacks, and since I’d gotten the gist of how Liam and Teegan were in the past, I found them to be unnecessary.

Despite these issues the characters have a deep connection, and there’s something about a man being willing to stand beside a woman and reassure her through such a turbulent time that can’t disregarded. The sex between them is spicy, but the real focus is on the love that exists between these two.

Jenna and Tyler are the perfect couple who lead the perfect lives. Until a horrible accident changes everything. Will Jenna’s dreams of another man and Tyler’s own deep secret destroy everything they’ve built? Or will Fate personally change an irrevocable course of events that no one could possibly foresee?

TISSUE WARNING! I absolutely hate books that make me cry, let alone in the first chapter! But this book changed all that! I loved every moment and every tear!  From the first page, Jenna and Tyler capture your heart with a rollercoaster of emotions that are real and relatable to all of us. I felt like I was living in their shoes. Not many books can do that, and Jennifer Labelle hit a home run on all counts. Meant To Be is an engrossing read that makes you yell for more! The secondary characters are likeable and you are rooting for their happy
ending as much as the main characters. This is a “keeper” and in my top list of books to read over and over.  Thanks for the great read!

Meant to Be was such a fantastic, heart wrenching book. I LOVED it. Thank you for letting me read it. I am looking into purchasing the paperback.
