Byron and Tucker were both amazing, and so very different! Selkie men, blood-bonded since they were young, the two have an almost twin like bond, and literal telepathy! From a broken home, Tucker is bound to a horrible drunken mess of a father, and duties linked to his blood. The tremendous responsibility and bitterness he holds toward the circumstances drive him out on the outskirts of the Selkie haven. He’s kept his emotions tight to his chest, until Vivian strolls in and changes his perspective, much to Bryon’s relief. From a loving family with a mother hen, who’s sassy and nurturing he’s the more lighthearted of the two men. Their banter, love for one another, and need for Vivian come together to create one hell of a story.
The sensuality of the sex scenes made me fall further in love with the triad and made me reach for a glass of water. Ms. Hayes did a hell of a job writing this one with loveable, unique characters with depth, interesting backgrounds, and a not so perfect road to happily ever after. I highly recommend this story to all romance lovers out there.
