Emmy gets a ride from the sexy Officer Jackson and that first meeting blows him away. But is she involved with the local human trafficking case or is she a possible victim?
I love romantic suspense. If I had one genre to read for the rest of my life, it would be romantic suspense. Night Silences is the perfect example of why I love this genre so much! Emmy is stubborn so I instantly liked her. Jackson is a good guy trying to do the right thing. When he meets her the sparks fly. This story is not just great romance but also great suspense and that ending! I don't want to give too much away but I will say, Night Silences is an absolute must read!
Gino and Rosa are survivors. When a threat from Rosa’s own family comes to light, Gino has a choice to make. One that’s life or death, love or loss.
Dark, dirty and heart wrenching. That pretty much explains this book. The pain this author put these characters through is just cruel and it really makes me cheer for them. In terms of the action, there’s a ton. The growing love between Gino and Rosa is beautiful then some seriously hot romance. I love this dark romance vibe that’s been so popular lately. A Sense of Guilt is a must read for those readers who like their heart pulled out of there chest and then sewed back up by an amazing story. Intense action. Stunning romance. I can’t wait to read more in this series!
Hannah is a pushover. Her mother picked her boyfriend, her job is lacking and then she meets Rocco. He’s been through a rough childhood with abusive parents and survived Afghanistan. Can two people from opposite sides of life, find a happy ending together?
This is a fantastic contemporary romance. Rocco really had my heart strings twisting. He survives so much as a child and still has residual issues. Hannah is a bit harder to like. She’s too much of a pushover for my taste. When she meets Rocco it’s like she’s found her backbone. I love the drama and the passion! And Richard the ‘boyfriend’, I wanted to punch that guy and not in the face. The author did a great job bringing these characters to life. If you enjoy contemporary romance, you’re going to love Hannah’s Bliss!
Leona had a rough childhood that’s led to a rough adulthood. She now being taken care of by a crime family but when they need help, she does unthinkable things. Now missing, only one man will stop at nothing to find her, Tony. The man that nearly broke through her tough exterior but also in a rival crime family. He has to find her before he can even attempt to have a happy ever after.
This is a phenomenal story! It starts with Tony getting word that Leona is missing. I can really feel his panic and the urge to find her. It gave them a good connection before the reader actually got to meet Leona. Poor Leona, the stuff she’s been through in life has broken her down. This is an edge of your seat read and being that’s it short I devoured the story! Sexy, entertaining, heartbreaking, sweet, His Kind of Beautiful is a must read!
A fairytale with a twist…
Emeline is dealing with a heartbreaking past and a dark future. When she meets Adam, there’s nothing but chaos and arguments and … perhaps love?
Emeline has been through so much! I felt so bad for what the author put her through and yet, I had to read about her happy ending. I just had to! Adam is offering to help her and pride keeps Emeline from accepting. Plus, they meet in a cemetery which for sure is an awkward start, makes for a great story though. I loved this twist on a classic tale. The chemistry between Emeline and Adam is so damn sexy! It’s such a, well, it’s a rollercoaster of emotions and events. I really couldn’t put this book down!
The Beast in a Suit is a must read!
Casey is on the hunt for a traitor but he/she strikes first and she’s plunging from a plane when an idiot tries to save her. Hothar has found his mate and will do anything to protect her? Even as the bad guys mount …
I loved Casey! She’s fierce and badass and telekinetic. Hothar is a Coletti warrior and when he meets his mate, he has a hard time keeping his hands off her. They are a fabulous together, push and pull. The heat factor is smoking. There’s also action and adventure of the traitor. There’s also some great humor and that had me snorting. The author creates an interesting world with lovely nooks and crannies that are explored throughout the series. Hothar’s Folly is another great addition to the Coletti Warlord series. This is a mix of genre’s so there is something for everyone.
Hothar’s Folly is a must read!

Emery keeps meeting a man with wings and dying in weird ways. But he won’t stay dead, which for the junior reaper is a problem. The reaper’s boss, Administrator Dagmar, tells him the discrepancy must be resolved. What a premise! Throw in a few demons, the end of the world, a magical younger sister and the story becomes a three-sixty roller coaster ride.
This story as a comedy is hilarious, I couldn’t stop laughing. It’s a unique and refreshing paranormal quickie. Carole’s writing reminds me of the great Terry Pratchett or Douglas Adams … which in my book is amazing praise. Don’t expect the story to make any sense. It just flows from one ridiculous scene to the next. This is at best a YA romance. The sexual tension between Emery and the reaper, John / Sam, is obvious from the beginning but the dialogue remains at a flirty level. The scenes flip from Emery perspective to John / Sam's perspective. For me, it didn’t matter that there weren’t any sexual scenes, nothing explicit beyond a hand on a knee at the end of the story! The beginning's surreal with Emery waking up in a morgue and doesn’t disappoint all the way through to the last word.
The words will carry you on a silly and unbelievable ride. You have to read Don't Fear the Reaper!
Nevin meets Marco in the most unlikely of places, the basement of a serial killer…
And that starts the blurb! You're damn right I picked this book up and devoured the story. Nevin just lost his mother and he's moved upstate for a new job. The job as a stripper is a bust and the date afterward ... knocks him out. When Nevin wakes up he's in a cage in some dark basement. Marco has been here a while. He's angry, exhausted and hopeless thoughts are in his mind. But then Nevin arrives and together, they have to face the serial killer.
Holy crap! So many emotions! Shocked. Scared. Sad. Upset. Stunned. Aww. Excitement. Romantic. Omg! Oh, sexy. Okay. Okay. You need sentences. Gotcha. So, Nevin is adorable. Poor guy just lost his mother and then is kidnapped. That's not the worse part. There is a glossed over rape scene that broke my heart. It was very brief and there were no details. Marco is also in bad shape. He's been beaten and humiliated. My heart was breaking for them! I can't give away too many details but their romance was an amazing roller coaster. They're both damaged, some issues obvious, but others not. I'm actually really blown away by this series. This is the third book and they've all been fabulous. Beauty Has Balls is my favorite book so far. If you've read the previous books you will probably know who the killer is but the ending is so damn satisfying. I literally was on the edge of my seat and shouting, "Yes! Damn right!" I cannot wait to read more in The Cox Club.
Beauty Has Balls is a must read. Period. You have to read this romantic thriller!

We’re in a world of Santa, elves and pixes. There’s also shifters and mates. That’s exactly what happens when Magnus sees Melody. He knows she’s his mate but Melody is a half pixie. How can anyone possibly love her?
Melody has no self confidence being half pixie so she doesn’t understand Magnus’ interest in her. Magnus knows she’s his mate from the first moment they meet. The Santa world is a cute addition. I like how Santa has an app and that there’s a real problem with marketing. Comedy comes off subtle and entertaining in this story. The romance really shines through. I absolutely love that even though they’re mates and that they’re attracted that the romance is a slow sizzle. It doesn’t feel rushed or slow but it’s the perfect pace to get you hot and bothered. The sex is seriously hot! They have such great chemistry.
Bear’s Beauty is a sexy tale you can read all year long!
Zara is a wannabe painter who is struggling to make it financially. On the eve of her big breakthrough, fate takes a hand and a fire destroys her paintings. Her pride won’t allow her to borrow money from her friends or estranged family. She’s a living lookalike for a cartoon Princess Ravenna and takes a gig, dressed as the princess, to paint the children’s faces. The birthday girl’s father, Brendan, is a sexy surprise she isn't expecting.
I love this romance. The story flows wonderfully and, and for me, resonated. The story switches perspective between Zara and Brendan. The sex scenes are hot, but don’t overwhelm the romance. Without the sex, it would make a first-rate made for TV movie,—in my opinion a compliment. Brendan becomes Zara’s muse, and her paintings rise to the occasion and become sensual. Every good romance requires a few bumps in the road to true love. The Reluctant Princess has them all…overbearing parents…an interfering/jealous ex,…a spirited young girl and more. The story has well developed believable characters and a happy-for-now ending.
The Reluctant Princess is a story you’ll want to read again and again.
