Imposing, temperamental Noah Forman wakes up in a hospital and can’t remember how he got there. He holds it together, taking comfort in the fact that the man he has loved since childhood is on the way. But when his one and only finally arrives, Noah is horrified to discover that he doesn’t remember anything from the past three years.
Loyal, serious Clark Lehman built a life around the person who insisted from their first meeting that they were meant to be together. Now, years later, two men whose love has never faltered must relive their most treasured and most painful moments in order to recover lost memories and secure their future.
Sally takes the place of her sister on a photo shot when she has a bad allergic reaction. Now, Sally gets to meet the panty wetting Master J and be tied up in the sexy art of Shibari.
Sally, lovely, curvy, sensual Sally. I really loved how Master J brought out her confidence and her submission. The way they reacted to each other was so beautiful. The plot is more about the growth of these two characters and it really flourishes. The shibari was beautifully written. I could really see all the intricate detail. The editing was a bit rough, that was the only reason for a four star review.

Alice Wunderland (I had to double-check the cover to be sure this wasn't one of Evernight's kinky fairytales, because of that name) is in need of a lot of money in a very short period of time to cover medical needs for her niece's child who's been diagnosed with a nasty cancer. She decides to raise that money by auctioning her virginity. Lakota ends up "inheriting" Alice when his brother, who actually bid on Alice's virginity, dies in a car wreck just before the auction closes. To help his respectability, Lakota uses that bid and the two get married. After some bumps and emotional roller-coasters, the two find their way to each other.
Alice is a desperate woman and who can blame her and who wouldn't do anything and everything they could to protect/help a sick loved one. The emotions raised by her caring were awesome and part of my
4-star rating. That she would be willing to do what she did (first auction her virginity and then actually marry a man...) was wonderful. Yes, she could have been a bit of a martyr, but she didn't really end up coming across that way. I have to say I was surprised to learn that there might be actual programs in Native American culture in England. Classes, maybe, but not a degree. So I learned something. This is relevant only because it's mentioned several times, and it plays a growing part in who and what the hero, Lakota, is and, conveniently enough, Alice's advanced studies were in Native American culture, so she understands about him. And, lest I forget, I have to say way to go Alice, for the verbal slap she gives the villain of the book in the hospital right before the end of the book. Lakota ... probably not my favorite Doris O'Connor male, but still decent enough, though he had a bit of a stick up his rear when it came to his father. Thankfully, they worked through that problem.
So, if I liked this book and clearly I did, why didn't I give it a 5-star rating? A few reasons. First, I found it a bit difficult to believe that when the newspaper articles came out, that Lakota and Alice would turn on each other the way they did. Alice had been a fighter and I was disappointed that she didn't fight harder right out of the gate, just took his crap and moped. Second, the cartoony nature of the villain. And finally, because Lakota still had a major stick up his rump when it came to his real father even after it was revealed the truth about the lack of acknowledgment from his parent.
The Billionaire's Unwanted Virgin is a recommend read!

Eight women sign up for Magic Mac's Mystical Tour of Scotland and all of them, including Mac himself, find some sort of romantic encounter at a scheduled stop at an inn. The encounters range from stranger to husband to friend, from just sex to love, from BDSM to a threesome to a male/male encounter. Some include mystical, magical elements like time travel, a ghost, or faeries. These nine stories have a little bit of everything!
This collection is well written but with the brevity of the book, each story feels like just a nibble. However, for such short stories, the reader receives very erotic vignettes, each just a scene or two long, giving a glimpse of each character. A couple of them hint at a happily ever after, but most of them just leave the end open. This is a good read for when you want a hot story without much extraneous plot and only have a few minutes to read.

In this third installment of Doris O'Connor's Club Ink series, it is Grisha's turn to find his happily-ever-after. In both of the earlier books, Grisha was a part of the storyline and then stood back and watched as his friends walked away with their soul mates. In this BDSM club that caters to shifters, a bratty sub just might have found her match. Neeve insists that she is not submissive and that she cannot understand why her friend wants to be collared, but there is a lot going on under the surface.
Watching Grisha and Neeve interact was really fun - she was automatically attracted to
him, but kept trying to run away. Grisha, however, had a tiger under the surface driving him to claim and protect that he had to keep reining in so that he did not scare her away for good. Both characters had difficult pasts and seemed to be drawn to that similarity. I really felt for both of them as they opened up to each other about the past and the damage done to them.
This entire series is fun in a ‘BDSM light’ way and creative in that humans and shifters mix in the club, some unknowingly.

This is the second in the series so I was a little worried I’d be lost and despite a few small things, I was pretty much pulled into the story from the first scene. BDSM is big right now and I think Doris O’Connor is an author to look out for. This is what I craved reading. A book that wasn’t a book, but a new world I could sink into for a while. Cherie is bruised and broken inside. She rejects her mate, Ink, Which is a badass name for a character. Anyway, He is running on his last thread but blames himself for her emotion breakdown. The connection between Cherie and Ink is so deep and almost real in a way. I really felt their love and
Cherie’s fear with Ink’s frustration. The characters shined in this book and then there’s the plot. It gave this book another notch on the fantastic scale.
Tiger Scars is a book you should not pass up, heart wrenching, sexy and utterly satisfying.

I wasn’t crazy about the bland cover but the blurb was a unique tale that really piqued my interest. I am so happy I did not judge this book by the artwork. This story is by far an excellent read. The plot is unique, the creatures well described and the characters perfected. I loved Doric and his past gave him such depth. Penelope was a character I could really relate to and at times found myself smiling with her. I felt like I was there watching the events unfold, even the steamy sex. I cannot praise this story enough!
The Last of his Kind is the last book you should pass up, read this!
Goldie and Her Bears by Doris O’Connor
Erotica, Shifters, Fantasy
TBR Reviewer: Brutally Honest
Goldie has a new boss, Jason, at the sex toy company. Suddenly, she gets an invitation
to a steamy bdsm club and it’s from him.
There was a lack of details and the very rushed feel to the story. Then there’s Goldie who seems like one of those TSTL characters. She follows some note to a place in the middle of nowhere without her cell phone or telling anyone. She didn’t even know Jason, the boss and yet she complied with going out where she could possibly get killed and never be found. Come on! Then she lets this strange guy who could have all sorts of diseases see if she’s wet between the legs! That said, Goldie was very hard to like.
After that is just went downhill. A woman named Cat is introduced as well as fingering guy, Jacob. They all seem to converge on Goldie and take control. Did i mention, SHE DOESN”T KNOW THEM. Not a thing and suddenly they’re getting hot and heavy. Made no sense and as such, lost my interest pretty quick.
It does perk up, Cat turns out to be a ball squeezing bad ass and eventually we get to know the characters. I still didn’t like Goldie. Her initial introduction was damaging and she never
redeemed herself. I’m surprise to say this, as I really like several of Doris O’Connor’s books, but this was a miss.
I might recommend it to a few friends who are really into bdsm reads.
Erotica - novel

Sven Larsson, Hollywood movie star, needs to repair his scandalous reputation if he wants any chance of making another movie. Then he meets Sylvia, a young widow and a mother of three, who is as far from the world of movies, gossip and paparazzi as can be. The attraction is instant between the two and although their troubled pasts tell them not to get involved with each other their hearts say otherwise.
This is a pretty classical romance, but what made it extra good was the two main characters. They have lived very different lives, one the Hollywood dream and the other as a suburban mother of three, but they still share a lot of experiences on the emotional plane. They have put their trusts and faiths in people close to them and been let down. Even though I don´t always agree with the characters actions, I can see why they think and feel certain things. When they are with each other though, they both bring out the better sides of their partner, which is what makes them such a good pairing.
This story also deals with a couple of tough things, such as abuse and fatal genetic diseases, and mostly the author deals with this gracefully. A small detail that I don´t think will bother most readers, but that bothered me, is the Swedish that Sven speaks. In the translation a lot of the words have ended up in plural or in the wrong tense. The endearments Sven uses seem translated straight from English to Swedish and end up being words that not many Swedes would actually use.
I do highly recommend this book, as I really liked the characters, flaws and all. Scandinavian Scandal is a strong four star read for me. A great story with interesting characters, some drama and a hot couple.
They both froze at the shrill sound of a phone, and, with another groan, he released Sylvia gently. Her jelly knees were grateful for his body holding her up against the wall. With a muffled curse and a rueful smile in her direction, his breathing as heavy as her own, he flipped the phone open. Sylvia did not understand a word of the rapid conversation that ended in a curt, "Tack, George."
"That was my driver. Let's get you out of here and somewhere more comfortable and finish this, shall we älskling?"
He grabbed her with one hand, propelling her along and out of the door along the narrow corridor, leading them further backstage in the elusive club before she even realised what
"Hang on, stop will you? I'm not going anywhere with you. I don't even know your name."
He stopped so abruptly she would have fallen over, had he not steadied her. His expression was unreadable.
"You really have no idea who I am, have you?"
He mumbled something under his breath, his expression softening slightly before it turned grim at the commotion behind them.
"Here come the vulture; no time to explain. Just trust me, will you?"
Sylvia stared at the outstretched hand, a horrible suspicion dawning on her at what she heard behind them, before grabbing his hand with a feeble nod. Then he pulled her through the nearby fire exit. The fresh air hit her like a sledgehammer, and she stumbled, barely aware of his muffled curse and the flashlights exploding around them. As bodies closed in around her, she struggled for breath.
Strong arms came round her waist to hold her up and a worried voice growled in her ear. "Are you okay?" Blissful darkness claimed her before she could make sense of any of it.

Right off the bat, I loved Astird. Her character jumps from the pages and comes to life. Astrid is a force, a fantastic, well-written and endearing character. Her descriptions are breath taking. Prince Rashid is harder to pin down but as the story progressed so did he. This is almost a dom/sub relationship. The story is short and if made into full length I think it would have packed more of a punch. There are some editing issues, including the f/f scene that was hard to follow with all the ‘she/her’. The twist at the end was predictable but sweet.
The pages heat up and the characters are placed into such a well detailed world. I couldn’t help but be swept away with them. Awakening is a MUST READ for romance readers!
"Open for me, my pretty."
The whispered command skittered across her fevered skin, her own hand closing over his as she took a bite out of the lush fruit, its juices spilling down her chin. Seeing Rashid's eyes darken further, his pupils dilating as his gaze followed the trail of juice trickling down between her breasts, gave her the courage to take another bite, until her mouth closed over
his hand, causing him to jerk visibly as she sucked his fingers into her mouth. He growled low. She released his fingers with a start, and within the space of one wild heartbeat, he pulled her onto his lap, one large hand cupping the back of her head, the other finding its way under her sheet, settling just under her left breast. Heat coursed through her at the lick of his tongue along her jaw, following the trail of juice over the sensitive skin of her neck, down over her collarbone, skimming across the tops of her breasts, dipping into the hollow
between. She clung helplessly to his shoulders, digging her fingernails into his biceps, all conscious thought leaving her body with the shuddering breath she exhaled. Sensation assaulted her, her skin tingling where his tongue trailed across her flesh, and when his firm mouth finally suckled one erect nipple, his teeth gently nipping, she was lost, oblivious to her surroundings and any misgivings, not recognizing her own needy voice begging for more, her body straining to get closer to the rock-hard erection nudging her swollen sex
through the restraints of his trousers.
"My lord, the baths are ready."
Rashid froze at the sound of Layla's voice, his breathing as harsh as Astrid's, and with a rueful smile, he pulled the sheet back up over her breasts, his knuckles skimming across them as he did with firm deliberation, making her gasp sharply.
"I should have your head for daring to interfere, Layla." With one last grim smile for Astrid, he turned toward the other woman, who bowed deeply at his curt demand. "Make sure she is well prepared. My patience is at its end."
"As you command, my lord." Layla bowed again, a small smile on her face, as her dark eyes briefly connect with his.
Astrid held her breath when he turned around at the open door. The predatory look that accompanied his next words raised her blood pressure a few more notches. "Eat, rest, enjoy the baths, for tonight you will know you are not dreaming."

The past has come back to haunt Kitty Jenkins and that past is Alex Giovanni. A one night stand that she never thought to hear from again after sneaking out of the hotel room. Now he stands before her four years later as the fire inspector for the school and she just isn’t sure if she has the strength to walk away...again.
Bare with me as I babble about how good this book is. When I picked this out, I admit to not having high expectations. The unoriginal title and plot just didn’t expire confidence but wow did this book truly blow me away.
I’ve read Doris O’Connor before and really enjoyed her. She has an amazing writing style with tons and tons of details that just pull you inside the book but honestly she really out did herself in this book. The plot while not original held a lot of suspense and I had to really control myself to keep from skipping ahead to see how things unraveled. Oh does this story start off with a bang, it’s intensely hot. My husband now loves this author too. However what I loved the most were the characters!
Alex is this sexy Italian and a firefighter, go ahead fan yourself, I know I did. He is all that is sexy but far from perfect, man does he have momma issues! As you read on you find even more imperfections in Alex but for me this made him more interesting and lovable. Kitty is such a contradiction of prim and proper as well as naughty girl. She’s so sweet until she loses her temper and then she is all fire. I absolutely loved her!
I took a few days after reading this, to re-read and try to be more objective and find something I might not have liked. Honestly it’s not there.
Too Hot To Handle is a sizzling tale sure to please.
Alex’s eyes narrowed, and Kitty automatically dropped her gaze. She licked her lips, seeing the huge erection straining the flies of his jeans. Oh my. He was clearly as turned on as she by their little game. But how far would he take this? And did she trust him enough to find out?
“Yes, what?” His deep voice held an edge of steel, and she bit back her moan. That voice alone would send her over the edge. Who’d have thought a little role-play could be so erotic?
“Good girl. Now strip – slowly.”
Alex’s voice brooked no argument, and Kitty hastened to comply. She fumbled with the tails of her blouse until Alex stepped forward and ripped the thing clean off her.
“Not that slowly.”
His eyes wicked, he unhooked her bra and sent that, too, flying. He whistled his approval as her breasts fell free. He cupped each mound in turn, and spun her around and toward the double bed, which took up one side of the hotel room. The slap on her ass took her by surprise, and she yelped. He soothed the sting with his large hand massaging her ass cheeks, and he chuckled into her neck.
His fingers once again dipped into her wet folds, and she froze when he inserted one digit, slick with her juices, into her anus. Heaven help her, that felt way too good. Heat spread across her skin, and Alex bit into her earlobe, as his fingers continued their erotic dance in and out of her forbidden passage, and her body betrayed her arousal by a renewed gush of moisture between her legs.
“That’s my naughty girl.” Alex’s erratic breathing into her neck pitched her own arousal sky high, and she put up no resistance when he urged her onto the bed, his naked, warm, torso heating her back.
“Get on all fours for me.”
