Letters to Her Soldier is a quick romantic read about a soldier, Caleb, who spends 6 years falling in love with his little sister's best friend, Bianca, through the letters she's written him during his deployments. Now back home, Caleb is determined to make Bianca his, but the task is harder than he anticipated as Bianca has some major insecurity issues as well as a doctor trying to win her affections.
I very much enjoyed this short story. I'm always so impressed when an author can cram well developed characters, a satisfying romance, some heavy steam between the sheets, all with some drama , in such a short story. This book has all the elements you'd find in a full length novel but never felt rushed. You get a back story of how these characters knew each other in their childhood, who they are today, and the beautiful letters that brought them together.
I will say that at times I found the dialogue between Caleb and Bianca somewhat cheesy, not as natural as I would have liked. The writing, otherwise, was incredibly strong. This was a great romance and is definitely worth a read!

Sandy is tired of alpha males - between her firefighter father and brothers, she is overwhelmed and sick of it. Fate, though, has the last laugh when she joins her female friends at a self-defense class only to find herself claimed by not one, but two large, bear shifter males. Jake, a police officer and his cousin
Zach, a tattoo artist and business owner, know right away that Sandy is the one and only True Mate for them, but Sandy takes quite a bit of convincing.
I had trouble with this story because the romance was really far-fetched. Just the thought that a policeman and self-defense instructor would deliberately break into the home of the woman they wanted doomed it for me, and the way the three fought and made up frequently just didn't work. It felt like nothing was ever working out, just covered over with sex. However, if that aspect was overlooked, the scenes between the three of them were very hot, and I really liked when Sandy told Zach's mom off over the phone.

Susie is a larger girl and after fighting to not gain another pants size, she decides to join a nearby gym and get some personal training to try to lose some weight. What she finds when she walks into Healthy Bodies is certainly more than she intended - not one, but two bear shifters that immediately declare she is their True Mate. Both Brian and Blake Bear have chosen to wait to find their True Mate, rather than mating with another bear shifter just to have children. These brothers have not even lived together in years, so to discover that they share a mate shocks them as much as it does Susie.
This book is funny - Susie keeps trying to run away from her domineering, dominating mates, but they
keep luring her back in. Blake and Brian both have their own pasts to deal with, a mother that tries to boss everyone around, and now a mate with insecurity issues. Brian, especially, often has a serious case of "foot-in-mouth" syndrome.
Overall, it is a cute read that could have stood another round of edits in a few spots but did not take away from my enjoyment of the story and set up well for a story about Susie's friend and the Bear Brothers' cousins.
