Sawyer and her sister left their drug addicted parents behind. She opens up a tattoo shop and it looks like things are going to improve until a blast from her past shows up. Jagger is sex on legs and a major danger to Sawyer’s heart. With tragedy and her ex, will she ever find that elusive happy ending?
The point of view was confusing. The blurb is in first person but the book was in third. Thankfully, third person is my favorite to read. This didn’t detract from the story but if anyone is expecting first this is just a heads up. That said, this is a fantastic story! Sawyer is a badass and I love me some tough heroines. I like that the past with Jagger is so heavy but also that she can’t help but let him back in her heart. The romance is too quick for me despite their past. I also wish there was some action in there. The sex is really great and the chemistry is perfect.
If you like a book all about the romance then Chasing Butterflies will be perfect for you!
Meagan is tired of being innocent but betrayal makes her cautious of even Mr. Right.
This is the first book I’ve read in this series and I didn’t have an issue with the plot. It is a sweet yet sexy romance. Contemporary isn’t my first choice in genres but I really enjoyed this one. The characters really make this book. I routed from Meagan throughout the story. If you like romance, then you should pick up a copy of Meagan in the I Dare You series!
Jenna Baker is involved in a terrible car accident with her husband Tyler. Grieving for the love she has lost and the sadness they have endured, Jenna agrees to go with her best friend Sam on a holiday to Ireland a year later. While on holiday the two meet Caleb and Brady Connelly, two Irishmen that sweep them off their feet. Just when Jenna believes she may have earned a second attempt at happiness Tyler reenters her life and she is forced to give up on the future she envisioned with Brady in order to give her family a chance.
First, let me say that when I read the blurb of this novel the first thing I thought was that this could either be really great or really depressing. It was definitely GREAT!! I will say that I didn’t realize from the blurb that it was a paranormal and I don’t want to give away some of the more interesting surprises in the book but you won’t see much of it coming, and that’s awesome. The main and supporting characters were solid, and you will either love them or hate them (okay, loathe is probably the better word there). The ending was satisfying and worth the emotional ride that this novel brings us through.
I give this novel 5 stars for it’s ambitious and successful telling of this woman’s life-altering trials and happily ever after!

Second Chance Love, is a story about high school sweethearts, Liam and Teegan, whom get a second chance at finding their happily ever after. As teens the two were a dynamic couple with plenty of passion and love. Until Liam’s scheming ex, Lucy gets her hooks in his skin and trucks him into making the ultimate betrayal.
Deeply wounded, Teegan, leaves town without looking back, and becomes involved in a abusive relationship she can’t seem to get out of. When she returns to her hometown ten years later to get her life back together she’s forced to face the fact that she’s still in love with Liam. Even though Liam feels the same, they have along way to go before they can start over.
Second Chances was a pleasant read, but I was unable to really get into the conflict that was happening. I found a lot of the incidents to be clichéd. IE. The woman Liam was very casually dating yelling at Teegan in a bar about having her sloppy seconds… really? I also found the constant hopping between the past and the present to be a bit off putting. The passages were longer than most flashbacks, and since I’d gotten the gist of how Liam and Teegan were in the past, I found them to be unnecessary.
Despite these issues the characters have a deep connection, and there’s something about a man being willing to stand beside a woman and reassure her through such a turbulent time that can’t disregarded. The sex between them is spicy, but the real focus is on the love that exists between these two.

Jenna and Tyler are the perfect couple who lead the perfect lives. Until a horrible accident changes everything. Will Jenna’s dreams of another man and Tyler’s own deep secret destroy everything they’ve built? Or will Fate personally change an irrevocable course of events that no one could possibly foresee?
TISSUE WARNING! I absolutely hate books that make me cry, let alone in the first chapter! But this book changed all that! I loved every moment and every tear! From the first page, Jenna and Tyler capture your heart with a rollercoaster of emotions that are real and relatable to all of us. I felt like I was living in their shoes. Not many books can do that, and Jennifer Labelle hit a home run on all counts. Meant To Be is an engrossing read that makes you yell for more! The secondary characters are likeable and you are rooting for their happy
ending as much as the main characters. This is a “keeper” and in my top list of books to read over and over. Thanks for the great read!
Meant to Be was such a fantastic, heart wrenching book. I LOVED it. Thank you for letting me read it. I am looking into purchasing the paperback.
