Lissy has a boring, routine life until she wakes up one day and doesn't recognize her own face staring back at her in the mirror. Snippets of memory return and many questions. But she knows one thing for sure, things are not what they see and she can trust no one.
Great romantic suspense! The beginning pulled me in and refused to let go. I love how the author unraveled the mystery of Lizzy's memory and her dreams of sexy Mr. X. Xavior was lizzy's lover. He's been watching her for years in her new life. But when she starts to remember, he risks everything to be with her. There was tons of action and wonderful romance.
If you like romantic suspense, Shadow Woman is perfect for you!

There were pages and pages of what the characters were thinking. Too much and it
really slowed down the pace, it felt like that was more for word count rather than for the story. Other than that, this book was fabulous. There are some funny one-liners. They literally made me laugh aloud. (I’m a man. Even pissing is a contest.) Angie and Dare are both sarcastic but loveable and really made a wonderful connection as the story progressed. The sex scenes was so damn good, my toes were curling and I was leaning forward in my chair glued to the pages. It was slow and sensual but not overly sexual like an erotic novels.
I read this book really quickly, It just pulled me in and refused to let go until I got to the last page. Prey by Linda Howard is a fabulous read!
