We’re back in the world of Veiled Eliminators! Twenty-Four is an assassin who is partnered with an android/cyborg named Ninety one. However, their mismatched nature may actually bring them closer together. As they risk their lives on a mission, loyalties are testing and their world forever changed.
The beginning is a little confusing. I wasn’t sure what is going on or who the characters are. Eventually you get an ohhhh moment. Now I understand the beginning but the way it is written is confusing to start a story. That said, this is another great addition to the series. This follows the same pattern as the first two books. Loyal assassins go on a mission, see the truth and defect but not without a battle. I like Twenty-Four. She survives some terrifying events and is stronger for it. The romance between them is sweet and slow but I wish it had more heat. The action and intrigue is, as always in this series, fantastic!
Birch and Zev have a complicated history that includes love and betrayal. They separated but never forgot about each other. When a medical center is blown up and Birch is the suspect, they are thrown back together. As the mystery unfolds, the romance has Birch and Zev risking their hearts as well as their lives.
I like Birch. She’s a tough chick that has learned through hard times how to survive. When she falls for Zev, I’m totally routing for them but, that romance is shattered and they separate tragically. When Zev tackles a suspect running from the hospital bombing and finds out it’s Birch, I was on the edge of my seat! There’s plenty of action and mystery. The science fiction is really well done. The romance is okay. I think more heat would have made Birch and Zev feel more intense as a couple. Some places in the story are almost as if they are over edited because scenes felt a little flat. This is a good story. I enjoyed it a lot and would recommend giving Birch’s Faith a try. I’m looking forward to the next book in the series!
Their world on mars will end. The planet will be uninhabitable. Humans will return to earth but ... Elric and Max aren’t with those humans. Elric is part of the Outlaw MC, a big part, and he stumbles upon an assassination attempt. He’s able to thwart them but they beat the crap out of him and leave him for dead on an already dying planet. Max is a mechanic who’s afraid to fly. He finds Elric and together they have to find a way to warn the Outlaw MC on earth.
The last book in this world. Ugh, both excited and sad to see it go. I love James Cox’s sexy men and his bad guys who have hearts of gold really grab me. Elric is the perfect example. He’s so sweet and all he wants to do is save his club. All the obstacles that get thrown in front of him are terrifying and exciting! Including Max. Oh, sexy, sexy, sexy Max (Melts. Ovary’s explode.). Max. He is so freaking sexy and I love how he teases Elric. Because Elrci is wounded, he can’t exactly have sex with this gorgeous guy. I like how realistic that part is. However, Max knows a few things they can do that will still get them that satisfaction. Oh, so much satisfaction! I do wish this book had been longer though, I really wanted to see what it is like on earth now that they settled back there. There is a sad death at the end that I think the author did an amazing job writing. I totally teared up! When Elric and Max finally have sex it’s like this magical, beautiful moment that I had to read more than once! This is the bittersweet end to the Outlaw MC.
This series began with a tyrant bent on white, male domination and ended with a happily ever after that makes me want to smile all the time. If you like gay romance you have to read this series! Sci fi fans, MC romance and those who love scorching sex scenes will also enjoy the hell out of the Outlaw MC by James Cox.

Yes, you read that right. The Dick Defender. I feel the need to stand up straight and plant my hands on my hips every time I see the title, like some erotic announcer. Love it! The cover’s pretty hot too but I’m here to talk about the actual book...
Hel is part of the Outlaw mc of Mars (that’s right the planet mars!). He has various bodyguards because his father is the president but Hel only uses them for sex. When assassins come to collect him, he has to rely on the sexy bodyguard Sin, who refuses his advances. Oh yeah, there’s also the storm of the century about to hit!
Wow. This book is amazing! From the beginning, I was pulled in. I’ve been waiting for the ‘big storm’ about to hit the city of mars. Hel is hard to love in the beginning but quickly I softened toward him. He’s spoiled, yes but he’s also hasn’t had much chance to grow because of his overprotective fathers. Sin, oh my God, Sin! His past is heartbreaking, just freaking heartbreaking. I liked him to beginning with. He is sarcastic but quiet and he refuses to be another notch on Hel’s belt. When the storm hits I literally bit my nails. It is so beautiful and scary. The details are crazy good but not too much where it bogs the story down.
Their romance is a sweet one but seriously *fans self* sexy *ice water*. You can read this book without reading the previous but once you read this you’ll want to read them all. There’s only one book left (according to the authors FB profile). I can’t wait to read it!
The Dick Defender is a new take on MC romance and James Cox brings some serious sexy with a plot. A Must read!

I highly recommend you watch the movie first. I loved it, by the way, and I also loved the book. However, the book is heavy with technical terms and math problems (I’m lucky I can figure out a tip ... …with a calculator and I still enjoyed the book.) Watching the movie first is a must.
Mark Watney (played brilliantly by Matt Damon) is a botanist for the Ares crew on mars. When a bad storm hits, they all evacuate but Mark is hit by debris. They all think he’s dead. With heavy hearts, they leave mars. That’s when Mark wakes up almost out of air, half buried in red sand and impaled by an antenna. Oh yeah, he’s also the only human on mars!
This is an odd novel, in terms of point of view. Watney is via the logs he writes. As soon as I learned this my hopes for this book sort of fell. How good can it be if all we get is a bunch of dry telling? Oh, I was so wrong! Happily wrong! The logs are heavy with sarcasm and although I had a hard time following all the math stuff, still entertaining. The personality of Mark really came through and before I knew it I was one hundred pages in. Then two hundred. I couldn’t put the book down. It runs a similar path to the movie. There are some differences which I found rather interesting to read. There’s more sarcasm in the book which made me snicker out loud frequently. If the technical stuff had been paired down a bit this would definitely be five shiny stars. As is, this is still a must read for me. I will be recommended the book and the movie!
Welliver is a scientist and genius who leads a team to explore earth. Mars is dying and humanity has to move back to earth. He’s also a member of the Outlaw motorcycle gang. While on earth, this not so brave guy is almost killed by an octopus monster. He’s saved by a naked man who’s only known as Beast.
Love, totally and utterly in love with Welliver. He’s so freaking adorable! From being rejected by his crush, almost killed and he’s so cocky. I love him! Beast is a badass and extremely sexy. He doesn’t remember his name because he was sent to earth so long ago. My heart hurt for him. I wanted to hug him tight then get him naked, lol. Seriously, so sexy. I love their story. There’s lots of action but also lots of romance. I did not want this book to end and I’m so excited to read more about the sons of Outlaws.
Suck the Savage Beast is a sexy, fun story that you have to read!

Matt is the captain of a less than honest ship and he’s been hired to take Ryce to a secret location to steal an alien artifact. Only Ryce is supposed to be the pilot and this employer isn’t exactly telling the truth. As trouble finds its way to the crew, Matt is both attracted to Ryce and suspicious. Where exactly is there location and what does this artifact do?
I absolutely love these kind of adventures, sci fi with some romance books. It combines all three genres and makes an epic read. This book had the adventure with Matt, Ryce and crew. The sci fi is a wonderful glimpse into the future of spaceships and roaming the universe. The romance is a bit thin though. Sure, they have great chemistry but I wish there was more of it. There are only a few kisses in this book and that’s it. I love the details of the ship and the world the author created. There’s action that really has me on the edge of my seat. This seems to be the first book in a series and I for one am looking forward to reading more.
Adrift is a highly recommended read!
After generations of travel through space they’ve arrived at Zehava. The planet is discovered occupied by plant based lifeforms, one of which is Terra’s boy, and the ship has erupted into chaos as the rebels fight the council. Terra avoids the woman trying to kill her, meets the beast stalking them and searches for her mate, but will they ever find a home here or will they return to a dying earth?
Terra really matures and grows in this book. I love how she’s thrust into a leadership position that she doesn’t know anything about but she grabs it with both hands and doesn’t let go. She really makes the story amazing. We finally meet the boy, her boy, and I love the world building. This alien society is rich with details and depth. It is truly a pleasure to unveil. There’s lots of action and the ending is sweet and hopeful. I’m so glad I picked the first book up on a whim. I’m looking forward to more books from this author.
Starbreak is a wildly successful sequel to Starglass, a must read!
The sexy men of mars are back in The Dom of Peculiar Places. I love James Cox’s titles. Anyway, Roark is the dom in question and he’s trapped underground when an earthquake hits but he’s not alone. The sexy, sarcastic prospect Henry is with him. Together they have to get out of the tunnels and warn the Outlaw MC that there’s going to be an attempt on the president’s life.
Boom! Talk about sexy. Roark is instantly a favorite of mine. He’s such a tough, growly kind of guy. I love how he obsesses with Henry and that it gets them into trouble. Henry sarcasm is freaking hilarious. I caught myself smirking nearly every page. Together they made a great couple. Sure, the sex was hot, oh my God, so damn hot. But the story is also intense. When Henry collapses, I was on the edge of my seat! The author mentioned someone is going to die in this series and I’ll probably spend the whole series wondering who it is. Who knew peculiar was such a good thing? The BDSM is light but oh so satisfying. I like when things get kinky but not too much.
To sum this up, action plus hot and dirty sex equals The Dom of Peculiar Places. A must read!

Terra is on a ship with her family, following the steps of the previous generation on a long journey to a planet that will sustain humanity. When her mother dies it’s a downward spiral of parental abuse and being lost in her assigned job. It doesn’t get any clearer when she witnesses a murder and is thrust into the middle of a rebellion.
Terra, I felt the anger seething under her skin and it makes her decisions so believable. Instantly I liked her and then the story unfolds around her to the point where I had a hard time putting the book down. There are twists, the one with Koen I guessed correctly, but the other big one at the end I didn’t see coming. I found it interesting reading this with the Jewish additions, it is a different take on the whole religious space ship issue. The more I read, the more I want to delve into this world for hours and not come up for real life. Yeah, it’s THAT amazing! I love the secondary characters too, they are all so different and complex. There’s some romance, appropriate for a young adult book but I like how it moves the story forward. The ending is really great, nice twists going on. I’m definitely going to be ordering the next book in this series!
Starglass is a unique, sci fi series that will entertain young adult readers, a must read!
