The story was enthralling and although at times the writing was a little choppy, I could not wait to see how everything would turn out. I found many of the events surprising and really pulled for resolution to the various trials the two men went through. I thought the explanation for why a gay man with OCD would join the military had a ring of truth to it, and appreciated his sense of honor and respect. I also liked the way both men had to learn to bend to make things right.
I was sorry to reach the end of the book, as if I was saying goodbye to friends. In other words, this one is worth the read.
