“So you living in a little town in Maine, what do you do for a living there?”
“I’m a handy man.” He wiggles his fingers. “I’m good with my hands. I love to fix things and bring them back to their original beauty. I get a sense of accomplishment when things are working correctly.”
“What is your favorite food?”
“Ice cream from my aunt’s shop, Cherry’s Jubilee Parlor. She makes it the old fashion way with seaweed. It has this wonderful taste and texture. You can’t beat it.”
“What did you think of Cora Siegfried when you first met?”
“Cora and I met when we were kids. She’d come to town during summer vacation to visit her father. We’d race our bikes up and down the street. Then we’d go get ice cream for Cherry’s Jubilee Parlor. What did I think of her? She was cute, funny and always share her cone with me.”
“Do you believe in love at first sight?”
“Yes. Well — as a kid I didn’t know what love was but yes, I always knew we’d be together. Then she stopped come and I didn’t think it would ever happen. But she came back to settle her father’s estate, and we literally ran into one another. It’s fate for us to be together.”
“Please describe Cora in one word.”
“I can describe her in two words. My destiny.”
