In the final portion of the Triple Towers trilogy, Lorn and Kallen are still going strong as Lorn starts taking charge of the Towers and wastrels alike as the new president of the Towers. Using his new position, Lorn immediately tries to bring change to all the people by allowing wastrel children into the Towers daily for food, cleaning and education while also sending food outside the walls. Of course, assassination and kidnapping attempts prove immediately that change will not come without struggle.
The ending of Kallen and Lorn's story was enjoyable, but it was still my least favorite of the three. It seemed to be more sex scenes alternating with crises, so that the plot felt slightly choppy rather than the smoother flow of the previous books. It still held much humor, though, and two favorite characters from the previous books made cameos that livened up the story as well. If you have begun the series, you should certainly read this one to see how it ends.
