Pirate, romance, M/M
TBR Reviewer: Brutally Honest
The beginning with all the explaining about this new magical world was a bit much. It was all sort of thrown at the reader, which made it a tad confusing. Still, underneath that was a very interesting and well thought idea. There were a few, very minor editing issues. Nothing drastic but I thought i’d mention it for those that are a stickler for grammar. There was a bit of an issue with flow. Some parts were so bogged down by useless chatter that it was really hard to sink completely into the book.
Despite that the story is still a solid four stars and very close to five stars! The characters were absolutely fantastic and the plot was unique as well as entertaining. The author did a great job with the action scenes. The relationship that grew between Tom and Nathan was perfection. It was slow but not dragging and because of that their attraction was very solid and sexy.
Air is an imaginative, wild ride that I highly recommend!
