TBR Reviewer: Brutally Honest
The beginning was a disappointment. It was slow, choppy and a little awkward in places. The editing was kind of rough throughout the book. The scenes jumps were especially choppy. Those were the only major problems. Once Lexy and Blane get together, everything fell into place. The sci fi details were fantastic. The sexual tension between them was magmatic and more than once I was leaning forward in anticipation. When they were heading toward that stage to have sex, because that was the only way to sneak on board the Glory Dome Space Station and save the girl, I was on the edge of my seat. When that burst of passion finally came, it was utterly satisfying and really gave the characters that deeper connection.
Huntress At Large is another hit for Ali Atwood. It has action, sex and a space chase, what more could you ask for in a book. I can’t wait to read Brig’s story!
