Anita might be pregnant in this book. There are fights, the ardeur, Richard being an jerk, oh and a vampire dance group is coming to town with some not so good intentions.
I really like how the whole pregnancy thing played out. It was great to read more about Anita’s love life and how she has to deal with all these men. That said. I didn’t like Augustine. He was a random introduction that turned into a romp and I just didn’t like how he was thrown into the mix. Too fast, I didn’t get a chance to know him first. I also didn’t like the way Asher was at the end. He almost killed Anita and yet she forgives him so quickly. That rubbed me the wrong way, as the saying goes. But it was great getting into this crazy, dark world the author created filled with vampires and shifters. Overall, this story was a great read. Less action but still a great addition to the series.
