from her parents. Coming to her aid, he attempts to help her to the lifeboats only to find that all is not as it seems....
This was a strange little story that, nonetheless, was still highly enjoyable and actually really quite good! There is one major twist around which the whole story revolves and my only criticism of this tale was that it was a little too short for my liking. I personally would’ve liked a bit more build-up before the big reveal; this story more of an example of what is commonly referred to as “Flash Fiction” than a true short story per se.
This story is a good introduction to Adam Santo’s work and certainly has got my interest piqued enough that I will definitely be checking out some of his other, longer fiction! If you like stories with a short, sharp twist that hits you where it hurts before you’ve even registered any threat, then this is for you! Oceans Fury is a great little tale that certainly catches you by surprise and is well worth a read as it won’t take you very long!
