I’ve been in a Nora Roberts craze lately. Just reading one after the other and loving them. This one, however, isn’t my favorite. The first half of the book the main characters meet twice. Once when she is twelve and then again, when she is eighteen where they kiss. Then Noah, who writes crime books, wants to write about her story, which she just wants to forget. So, half the book is over. Now, they meet again and are falling for each other. The time jumps are just too great for this to be believable. And the head hopping in this book seems worse. It is almost confusing in certain sections, I have to figure out which character is thinking what (Which is why head hopping is a big no-no). I did like the characters. The mystery is good. I second guessed myself as to who the killer is. Overall, River’s End was a good read.
