TBR Reviewer: Brutally Honest
The editing needed work and there were several parts where the intensity and action of the scene was brought up short by long winded thoughts. The time period was fantastic, the dialogue, the scenery, that was all very well done in terms of western style. The characters were pretty good but again that editing issue butted in. Head hopping, I hate it and it’s very much present in this book. There also the whole 'we love her unconditionally and instantly' thing. After a while, the story just lost my attention. I managed to get through it but it didn’t hold anything that made me want to recommend it.
Wild Outlaws had a lot of potential. I wouldn’t write this author off but maybe put her on the back burner. Give it some time and maybe I’ll try another one of her books.
