What are your favorite genres? - Romance (Gay and straight)
What do you dislike in books? - Instant love is a real turn off. I also think grammar is too lax these days.
Tell us a little bit about yourself - I run The TBR Pile with the help of my minion reviewers. I love reading. I always have. It keeps me sane and as far as I'm concerned we need more movies based on books.
Where's the strangest place you've read a book? - Oh, so many! The bathroom and the closet are my top two. With kids and a husband I find quiet time anywhere I can.
What are your favorite genres? - Young adult, fantasy, science fiction, and romantic suspense.
What do you dislike in a book? - When animals get hurt in a book (Or a movie for that matter). I hate that and it usually ends the enjoyment of the book for me.
Tell us a little bit about yourself: Welcome to the mothership! Please keep hands and feet inside the spaceship until we've come to a complete stop. I write Young Adult books and I may have been delivered by aliens. I have two books published with Evernight Teen, one of them is an editors pick! There's a lot more to come so stay tuned...
Where’s the strangest place you’ve read a book? - Is there really a strange place to read a book?
What are your favorite genres? I love to read paranormal romance, and sci-fi romance. I enjoy erotic romances, so any blend of those genres is my catnip. I mostly write contemporary romances, but occasionally I'll have a dream with a paranormal story arc, for my next book. I always want an independent woman as the heroine.
What do you dislike in a book? I actively dislike billionaires who prefer mousy poor virgins with low self-esteem. I can more easily believe in vampires. I don't like virginal heroines--or damsels in distress who need to be rescued by alpha males--or secret babies.
Tell us a little bit about yourself: I've been married for a very long time to my HEA--and it was love at first sight for both of us--so I know it can happen. We raised 4 kids to adulthood, and they're our best friends. I'm a teacher who subs in high schools because I enjoy the energy teenagers bring to life. When not reading or writing, I'm either sewing (mostly masks these days), crocheting (mostly afghans), or baking something.
Where’s the strangest place you’ve read a book? When I was a kid, our backyard had a few fruit trees. I used to sit on my favorite branch in the apple tree and read for hours.I used that in a book.
What’s your favorite book so far this year, 2020? Toss up between the two Steampunk books--The Pornographer's Apprentice, by Lisabet Sarai, and Tinkers and Technomancers by Katherine McIntyre.
