Welcome to a historical romance with sexy Vikings!
Who doesn’t love a fair-haired Viking with a heart of gold?! Nylander has never had a real home, being an orphan but meeting Callie changes his world. Callie has poured every fiber of her being into taking care of the estate but everything is turned upside down when she meets Nylander.
Pirates and swords and romance, oh my! There are secrets abound in Her Midnight Sin. I really like both Callie and Nylander’s personality. Their chemistry on the pages is palpable. The action is wonderfully exciting. My only complaint would be that some scenes are a bit slow moving. This historical setting and dialogue are a treat. I really enjoyed those details. If you’re a fan of historical romance, I think you’d treasure the story of Nylander and Callie!

Gino and Rosa are survivors. When a threat from Rosa’s own family comes to light, Gino has a choice to make. One that’s life or death, love or loss.
Dark, dirty and heart wrenching. That pretty much explains this book. The pain this author put these characters through is just cruel and it really makes me cheer for them. In terms of the action, there’s a ton. The growing love between Gino and Rosa is beautiful then some seriously hot romance. I love this dark romance vibe that’s been so popular lately. A Sense of Guilt is a must read for those readers who like their heart pulled out of there chest and then sewed back up by an amazing story. Intense action. Stunning romance. I can’t wait to read more in this series!
Hannah is a pushover. Her mother picked her boyfriend, her job is lacking and then she meets Rocco. He’s been through a rough childhood with abusive parents and survived Afghanistan. Can two people from opposite sides of life, find a happy ending together?
This is a fantastic contemporary romance. Rocco really had my heart strings twisting. He survives so much as a child and still has residual issues. Hannah is a bit harder to like. She’s too much of a pushover for my taste. When she meets Rocco it’s like she’s found her backbone. I love the drama and the passion! And Richard the ‘boyfriend’, I wanted to punch that guy and not in the face. The author did a great job bringing these characters to life. If you enjoy contemporary romance, you’re going to love Hannah’s Bliss!
The book starts with Elizabeth finishing up with a gyno visit. That’s where she meets a sexy new nurse and he drinks her blood! It’s definitely an unexpected meeting. I found it different and entertaining. Alex is overwhelmed with thirst for Elizabeth. He has to find her and convince her that he means her and her daughter no harm. But harm does come to them in the form of Alex’s past…
Yeah, that beginning is awkward. I wish she’d have just been giving blood or I don’t know something else. Did Elizabeth really see Alex drinking her blood? Alex is surprised by his attraction to Elizabeth. They do have some great chemistry. When his past catches up things finally get some action. The point of view jumps are really rough though. There’s no warning, just a jump in first person point of view. I had a hard time following that, it did diminish some of the joy of reading the story. There are a few twists in the book and some good sex scenes that is sure to heat your blood. If you love vampire romances (huge Trueblood fan here), I’d suggest giving Drawing Bloodlines a read.

This is a collection of children’s stories:
The Teapot and The Kettle
The Last Unicorn
The White Rhino
The Lost Puppy
The Green Knight and The Dragon Warrior Save Santa
Each story has a really cute hand drawn picture that I think kids would enjoy looking at. My kids are getting a bit too old for these stories, but it might be a bit much for younger kids. I think if you give the stories a read, you’ll be able to tell if these bedtime stories will work for your children. Each story has an interesting fantasy twist that I found amusing. Overall, I think this is a fun book that middle-aged children would enjoy reading.
Matteo helps Dakota with her shifter and she shows him what he twenty first centry is like. He’s been in cat form for a long time but their mating causes Matteo shifter problems. He must keep away from Dakota to keep them both save. When Dakota is kidnapped by a rogue military force he must save her, at any cost.
I really love the characters in this book. Matteo has a harsh, complicated history and meeting the complex Dakota only adds to the beautiful chaos. Their romance plays out among the action of the military attack. It gives a nice break to the romance and keeps the story going forward. The sex is super hot and definitely going to get the blood flowing. There are a few slow spots in the book that felt a bit bogged down but that’s really my only complaint. In terms of a shifter book, Matteo and Dakota really stand out. If you like shifters with a lot of heat then this book should be on your list to read!
We’re back in the world of Veiled Eliminators! Twenty-Four is an assassin who is partnered with an android/cyborg named Ninety one. However, their mismatched nature may actually bring them closer together. As they risk their lives on a mission, loyalties are testing and their world forever changed.
The beginning is a little confusing. I wasn’t sure what is going on or who the characters are. Eventually you get an ohhhh moment. Now I understand the beginning but the way it is written is confusing to start a story. That said, this is another great addition to the series. This follows the same pattern as the first two books. Loyal assassins go on a mission, see the truth and defect but not without a battle. I like Twenty-Four. She survives some terrifying events and is stronger for it. The romance between them is sweet and slow but I wish it had more heat. The action and intrigue is, as always in this series, fantastic!
Reuben’s dream of playing for the New Zealand rugby team is almost coming to fruition. Then he meets proud Cameron who’s a nurse. With Reuben hiding his sexuality and eyes on the prize, does Cameron have a place in his life?
I know nothing about rugby. Literally, nothing. I’ve never seen it, I don’t know anybody who watches it, and yet I had little problem following the sport in this book. It is written interestingly and easy to follow. Some terms are a bit lost on me but it didn’t really impact the story. Reuben’s story is heartbreaking. From his abusive father to his love of his nephew. Cameron hasn’t had an easy road either. When the two men meet there’s such a feeling of hope and beautiful possibilities. However, nothing’s ever that easy. My only reason for not giving this book five stars is the jumping first person point of view. That threw me out of the story a few times and also made me lose track of characters. The ending is really satisfying and it makes me hope this is the start of a great new series!

We’re back into the world of Veiled Eliminators! This book follows Seventeen who is tasked with killing Two and Four from the pervious book. She has a cybernetic suit with wings to help her with the mission but can she go through with it?
Seventeen didn’t come off as a trained assassin. She seems a bit too timid for the role. Edrian is a sexy dragon shifter. Right from the first meeting, they have great chemistry. There’s great world building as Seventeen searches for her prey and keeps doubting the order. Can she really kill them? Will she herself become a traitor and disobey? You’ll have to read and find out. The romance is light. I do wish there had been more of it.
Virama is a good addition the series. I’m interested to see how the series will continue!
Leona had a rough childhood that’s led to a rough adulthood. She now being taken care of by a crime family but when they need help, she does unthinkable things. Now missing, only one man will stop at nothing to find her, Tony. The man that nearly broke through her tough exterior but also in a rival crime family. He has to find her before he can even attempt to have a happy ever after.
This is a phenomenal story! It starts with Tony getting word that Leona is missing. I can really feel his panic and the urge to find her. It gave them a good connection before the reader actually got to meet Leona. Poor Leona, the stuff she’s been through in life has broken her down. This is an edge of your seat read and being that’s it short I devoured the story! Sexy, entertaining, heartbreaking, sweet, His Kind of Beautiful is a must read!
