And we’re back in this unique heaven/angel themed world of CC Bridges! I loved the first two books in this series and I’m so excited to say the third is equally as amazing!
Uriel is trying to find out what’s making some angels go mad and he suspects his partner Raphael is in on it. But when Raphael lets his feelings out about Uriel, all missions are sidelined. Can Uriel find a place in this ever-changing world? Will he let Raphael in and find that elusive happiness?
Poor Uriel is so confused. His whole life he’s taken order without questions. Now, Raphael is making him question everything and he doesn’t know how to deal with any of it. I really like him. He’s a complex character that drives the story. Raphael is more certain. He knows what’s right and what’s wrong, he’s determined to do something to fix their world. Their romance is wrapped up in this war that is paced perfectly. Just when your swooning over the two men chaos erupts. It’s beautiful!
If you like unique stories with beautiful world building and sexy men, this whole series is a must read!
Hank is spoiled rich and in the sights of terrorists. Ian is his bodyguard. Together they have to dodge bombs, demons, angels and each other.
This is the second book in the Heaven Corp series. The first one being fantastic, I have high hopes for Exodus and I am totally satisfied with those hopes. Hank is an ass, a sexy, well hung ass but an ass all the same. I really like his character despite that flaws. It is great seeing him grow from the bottom up. Ian is freaking hot, a badass and secretly into bdsm. Seriously, these two are gorgeous together. As their romance flourishes so does the danger. I love the suspense aspect of the story. It kept me on the edge of my seat. Add that to the unique world building and I’m in love with this book, no, this series. The bdsm is seriously sexy. Like I need a cold shower, alone time with my man and ice water, sexy. The power in CC Bridges writing is enticing and different. The whole world is something I’ve never read before. I cannot wait to see what else this author comes up with!
If you’re looking for a unique story with serous heat, you have to read the Heaven Corp series by CC Bridges.
Tevy’s is seeing angels. Yeah, angels in the sky fighting each other. They think she’s lost her mind so she’s sent to a mental hospital and learns to lie to everyone, even herself. When she’s free and still seeing the angels, she keeps it to herself until the boy next door sees them too. As Tevy becomes aware of Dillions affection toward her they both learn the truth, as terrifying and dangerous as it is…
I’ve read a thousand angel stories (estimating that count) and after a while they all start to blend together. This book is different. The Buddhism gives it this unique quality that really made this story stand out. I admit I have no idea how accurate it is because I don’t know anything about Buddhism. I had no problem following about different levels of heaven and how their wings don’t have feathers but it’s more faith and magic. Honestly, even without that hint of romance it is still interesting. Tevy, my God, the stuff this author threw at this poor girl. Losing her parents, seeing angels, everyone thinking she’s lost her mind and she’s sent into a sketchy mental hospital. This did make me instantly like Tevy. She’s been through hell and she’s come out of it broken but stronger. Dillon is so adorable! He’s silly and sweet and his funny/sarcastic dialogue makes me laugh out loud. This is an intriguing story peppered with first romance and six armed creatures trying to eat Tevy. Definitely entertaining. I’m excited to see what else this author will come up with!

Oak Haven is once again in danger and Sera is the only one who can stop it. First, she must find her presumed dead father and in order to do that she has to team up with her enemy, Fabian. Can they find the secrets to life beneath the city or does their journey stop here?
This is the third book in the Night Angel Chronicles series. The first two books in the series are solid four star reads, Key of Mystery and Book of Angels. This is continuation of the fabulous characters from those books. Sera has truly grown as a person but her fight isn’t over. Add violence and Fabian into the mix, Sera’s got herself a hard task. There’s great action and a wonderfully twisted plot. There are still many scenes that are slow moving. The beginning didn’t pull me in like the first two. Sera’s journey has been a wild one, filled with heartbreak and terror. That ending has an interesting cliffhanger.
The Night Angel Chronicles is an adventurous series that young adult lovers will want to read!
Sera only wanted to find out who killed her father and what this mysterious key he left opened. It leads to a wild adventure filled with danger, potential love and heartbreaking loss. In the second book of the Night Angel Chronicles Sera faces queens bent on destruction and the ultimate questions, will she become the seventh angel?
I really enjoyed the first book Key of Mystery and I couldn’t wait to get my hands on the second story. Book of Angels starts off immediately in this paranormal world where Sera is being saved from the brink of death. She’s no longer the average teenager with homework and awkward school dances. She’s now involved with angels, queens and powerful creatures. I love the world building. The author creates a story with lots of layers. It is slow moving in some places. I love how Sera isn’t a scared girl but willing to step up and deal with the crazy coming her way. The way she deals with Peter is so sweet and yet so sad. I’ve already got the next book in my kindle ready to go.
If you love stories about angels and demons, right and wrong, hope and despair, then give The Night Angel Chronicles a read!
"Be careful who you love, it just might kill you."
Sera’s father is killed, leaving behind a key. Suddenly her father death is not an accident and angels appear with strange talk of protecting her. When powers start manifesting Sera knows she has to find out the truth, whatever that may be.
This book begins with a Los Angeles Time story that is really creeping. Instantly I am hooked on the plot! I feel so bad for Sera’s family. Not only did they lose their father but he left them in debt. Her brother’s being a jerk and her mother’s losing it. After all that, these creatures are coming out of the shadows and they all seemed to be aimed toward her. Sera is a phenomenal character. She’s eighteen and handles herself realistically. She tries to be brave but that doesn’t always work. I like that so much about her. As this new world begins to take terrifying shape she meets Peter. Peter is cold at first and very secretive. I like how he thaws as the story progresses, even though he still has those moments where I want to slap the back of his head. This story has excellent characters and a unique, if sometimes slow, plot. I’m excited to read the next book!
A busted radiator strands Lyndi Garrison on a deserted road and shoves her directly into the path of a sexual predator. She fends off her attacker until a stranger appears from nowhere to help. She's instantly attracted to him and before the evening ends, they share a devastating kiss and a knock-out round of sex unlike anything she's ever known. Can these two make it work?
Seth fell for another angel eons ago, and was cast down from the Heavens. Seeking redemption, he works for the Angels of Death, taking lives of those destined to die. All he wants is to return home and get his wings back! Everything changes when a beautiful brunette pops into his life and turns his ordered world up-side down, tempting him with something he hasn't experienced in forever. Love.
I really enjoyed this story about angels & demons. Seth is still sweet and good despite being a fallen angel. He just fell for the wrong girl/demon. Seth is just a genuine man who wants to do good in the world! Lyndi, has fallen on hard times as well. After losing her child, she has a lot to overcome and she starts on her path to recovery. Meeting Seth has brought out feelings she never thought she would have again. I love her personality and that of her family. These two make each other complete! I love the connection they have and where their story goes. The whole good versus evil makes everything that much more thrilling.
Tempted is a thrilling tale of an angel and human finding love again to heal one another!
There is an ancient order in the Catholic Church that fights Demons and possessions. Levi is the sexy, tattooed warrior in that order. He meets Marcela and immediately knows that she is his, his gift from God. Kind of like mates but a religious aspect to it. Levi has to convince Marcela not to take her vows to be a nun and protect her from the evil that’s looking for his weakness, her.
I have to say I am pleasantly surprised by the world building in this book. The author can really paint a picture with her words. Levi, sexy, sexy, Levi, is such a badass alpha. He will definitely get your temperature up. I also really like Marcela, she has a sweet quality about her that drew me in. I’m not too crazy about the whole gift from God thing. The religion is heavy handed, just forewarning you, and some sections are a bit jumpy. The action is fantastic and several times I was on the edge of my seat.
The Garguiem: Levi is an interesting take on demons and the holy warriors that protect us. Add in some sexy romance and I’d say this is a highly recommended read!

Serenity Cardea is almost the last of her kind - an immortal, whose mission in life is the keep the peace between the various races and humans, which mainly comes down to keeping the vampires in check. The witches and weres keep to themselves, so keeping the vampires from taking over the world is her main focus. However, somehow the vampires have discovered the weakness of the Keepers, their mates and have killed off nearly all of Serenity's family, and the younger generations are not coming into their powers. After 3000+ years of life, Serenity finally meets her destined mate and time is ticking for the Keeper race.
This story had many twists and turns that kept me on the edge of my seat and moments that brought me nearly to tears, both sad and happy ones. As the various prophecies that were woven into Serenity's life were fulfilled and as all the events played out, I was continually as surprised as the characters. The Last Keeper is a great story with a unique take on the paranormal worlds we love and villains you love to hate.

What would you do to keep your dream job and what would you do to meet the person of your dreams? Terry only has one chance to keep the job of his dreams but it means betraying Aiden the man/angel of his dreams. He has to make a decision but he doesn’t have long, which one can he stand to lose.
I loved the concept that the author was going with this. An Angel that acted like anything but an Angel. He reminded me of the bad boy cops on the shows I’m addicted to, you can’t help but love how good they are at being bad but in the end you know they will do what’s right. Except the author took it a step further and did this with an Angel.
The problem became the fact that the author didn’t stick with this plot and truly develop it, instead we get caught up in many different faucets of plots. I went from reading about a homophobic jerk of a boss that won’t lay off the whiney but lovable Terry to there suddenly dealing with an evil vampire. I could have worked with that but the added bits of BDSM threw me for a loop. There just wasn’t enough character build up for me to really see an Angel getting it busy the very first night he meets this guy or the whole him making Terry his “slave”.
