Ethan is in Marrakesh to perform a geographic survey for his friend and boss, James, CEO of the Totally Five Star resort chain. His car dies in the middle of the desert and he's rescued by a "Berber peasant" who's riding by on a donkey. But his little peasant isn't what he initially thinks: she's actually a temp doctor for the Marrakesh Totally Five Star hotel he's staying at. Fleur is half European, half Middle-Eastern, all chameleon and a blend of the two cultures. She rescues Ethan, concerned he might have a concussion after he wrecks his car out in the middle of nowhere. The attraction between them runs fast and hot, quickly leading them to the bedroom and they both must decide whether they can part when Ethan's job is up in Marrakesh or if there's more there.
Overall, I enjoyed this. The sex was well written and certainly hot. My biggest gripe is there was a certain act that Ethan imagines doing to and with Fleur throughout the book, wants to do it, craves it...and then never does it, despite threatening a time or two. This might have made it to a five-star despite that, but my biggest gripe about this book was that there really was no good reason these two couldn't have been together as a couple. Seriously - Fleur is only on a temp job, and she does move on that fact once she decides she wants to be with Ethan permanently, but the job issue was never a real impediment to the romance.
Still, good book and worth reading. I'd love to see more in the Totally Five Star series.
