For all his talent, success and flamboyant personality, classical pianist turned rock star Leo Hamil can't forget the love of his life, virtuoso violinist Andre Revele. They met while attending a world-class music institute, but after a short yet intense romance Leo leaves Andre behind to pursue his rock n roll fortune. He's always regretted the cowardly way he broke things off, but is forced to confront his feelings when a chance meeting in Vienna ten years later rekindles their flame. Can Andre learn to trust the man who abandoned him all those years ago, or will Leo's rock star fame overshadow any chance of their reuniting?
Throughout the story I almost completely forgot that Leo and Andre were guys, I was so swept up in their romance and feelings for each other and for their craft. Viki Lyn gets it right in describing the world of the artist, the hours dedicated to practicing and perfection, the drive to create and the thrill of performance.
I certainly got an education into MM relations reading this story and I soon learned why the character names were repeated in almost every sentence. You'd have trouble figuring out who was doing what to whom otherwise! Overall, a sweet and touching song of love that makes a repeat and takes the Coda to a rapturous finé, composed not just for music lovers but lovers of all genders!
