Mouse isn’t exactly the hero type. He’s a ruffian that’s extremely good at picking pockets. Garron is the man he’s supposed to rescue. But there’s more than a man’s life at stake in Lord Mouse.
Right from the beginning there’s a lot of action and it just gets more intense as the story continues. I really like Mouse. He’s mysterious and dark. His escape plan is a bit long winded but entertaining. I don’t understand why they take the kid with them though. I like the addition of the mage. It adds a nice touch to the story. The ending is a wild rollercoaster of emotions, all good ones. I’m going to keep a look out for more books from this author.
Lord Mouse is a must read!
