Elise wants to learn how to ice skate. It’s one of the many things like swimming and riding a bike she missed out on as a child. When she goes to the rink one cold morning, she doesn’t expect anyone to be there. This is where she meets Zack. One look at his gorgeous face has her falling all over the ice. Zach is trying to work off his anger over the death of his friend. He’s tired of going to the gym, so instead he decides to go to the rink. He meets a cute woman, and decides to help her learn to skate. He continues going every Sunday to teach Elise, even though he knows he’s no good for her.
The story starts out with a quick cute introduction into how these two meet. His anger and sadness and her awkwardness makes for a great start. The author does a great job describing the cold and ice. I felt like I was there. I give this story four stars due to the sweet story line and the easy going flow. The book as a whole is a bit rushed after Zack tells Elise he loves her. I would have loved an epilogue or something for some closure. However, I really love the romance between Zach and Elise!

Maya has a bad track record with men. When she finally recovers from her drug-dealing ex fiancé to start dating again she is left wondering where the good guys are.
I really like this story. Poor Maya and her terrible luck with men. We are introduced to Liam who is a kind of nerd type school teacher. He and Maya were in high school together and he had a huge crush on her but, now he is just content with the whole friends with benefits until he starts to get jealous because she is dating again. These two have great chemistry together as well as a great friendship. The story definitely is a hit for me. I would have liked their time together to be a little hotter but still a fantastic story!
