Meghan is back and once again dealing with faery’s. A False iron king has taken charge of the iron fey and he plans on war...
I really loved the world building in NeverNever and The Iron Kingdom. It’s all so vividly described. The plot is great with sword fights, giant iron bugs, Puck (my favorite) and Ash. The addition of the gremlins was fantastic! I loved them. The final battle was freaking epic.
The Iron Queen a great leap into a fantasy world!
This is Meghan’s story continuation from The Iron King. She’s stuck because of a contract with Ash in the winter court. Prince Ash is ingoing her and his brother almost freezes her solid. There’s a new iron king. One who wants war and Meghan is the only one who can stop it. But no one believes her...
My favorite characters are back in the 2nd installment to The Iron Fey Series. Puck is still my chosen for Meghan’s boyfriend. They, along with Prince Ash, go on a wild adventure to prevent the iron war. There are awesome sword fights, creepy iron bugs, an almost kiss, a cat that can talk and disappear. However, There’s also a salon/shopping and dance scene that were kind of silly. Iron horse was a great addition but I didn’t like his dialogue being in all caps. The ending was good. I thought she’d be crowned or at least return to the Iron Realm rather than be banished.
I look forward to the next adventure in the Iron Fey Series.
This is the young adult story I was looking for. I’ve been striking out lately with good YA books and here, right here, is the perfect book. The Iron King is so good that I went and ordered the other books in the Iron Fey series. Meghan’s life is turned upside down when her brother is kidnapped and her best friend Robbie tells her he’s been taken by the Fey. Robbie knows because he isn’t some high school kid who likes to prank people. He is a fey. Now, she must follow him into the world of faerie called NeverNever to save her brother. Along the way she meets a sarcastic cat, a handsome ice prince, enemy’s with immense power and...her real father.
The Iron King is a wonderful, enchanted story. The details of this magical world are rich and beautifully written. I absolutely love Robbie and Ash and Meghan. Each character has enourmous depth and interesting pasts. There’s a love tug between Meghan and Ash and Robbie. I have my favorite, I’m curious as to the final chosen pair. I say Robbie. He loved her for so long before the extremely handsome ice prince came along. This book is one you shouldn’t pass up.
The Iron King is fantasy as its best!
