This is book 2 in The Otherworld series. You do have to read book one to understand what’s going on. Calling All Villains starts out where the first book left off. Princess Aneen, vampire Alexander and human Stefen are running from the evil queen but not for long. They’re putting together an army of supernatural creatures to take her off the throne but will they be able to do it?
Wow! This is a fabulous story. Fairies and vampires and shifters, oh my! I love the world building. In this book we see even more of it with different parts of Otherworld. This author never fails to create unique plots but includes smoking hot sex. And it is smoking hot. That scene with Alexander going all crazy vampire on Aneen and Stefen is freaking orgasmic. I’m still fanning myself. I’d buy the book again just to read that scene. Whew! Theirs a big battle at the end that showcases the climax of the war between queens. We meet Banshee’s, which I have to say are my favorite along with a shifter named Kierce who is stoic and quiet. I want to hear his story! I love the romance between Aneen, Alexander and Stefen. Besides the great sex, I feel a real bond between them. It is sweet and totally entertaining.

Have you ever watched the Firefly television series? This is a combo of the episodes where Mal gets into a dual with the jerk that’s dating Inara and the episode where they have to save the whorehouse. The technology, the Victorian style, all that plus sexy men getting it on. Seriously, you can’t go wrong.
Captain Nate never expected a handsome man like Aiden to literally fall into his arms or that said man would be royalty...…
A sweet virgin prince with a hairy burly captain, this is going to be good and it is. I like the age difference and how the guys acted with each other. They have great chemistry. There’s a lot of scifi action which really adds to the story. They romance did move kind of quickly though but it is super hot. Also, lube dispensers in the headboard and some sexy piercings ...… enough said! The ending is a cliff hanger because there are so many questions left without answers. There’s no doubt I have to give this book four stars though. It is entertaining, sexy and I like the world, sorry, universe building. I’m excited to read the next book in the series!
Katherine needs a change. After her father dies she moves to Montana where she finds not one, not two but three sexy men all grabbing her attention. What’s a girl to do?
We have three hot guys, shifters, Trey, Mac and Sully. Two of them are brothers which kind of hurt the sexy factor. I just didn’t like the idea of brothers have sex with the same woman like that. No, they don’t touch. Still creepy. I wish the author had made them all just friends. Anyway, Katherine is a bit ditsy but totally cute. She’s trying to move on with her life and she’s not sure how to deal with these three handsome guys. Katherine is too easily accepting and open to strange guys though. I had a hard time liking her. The guys in question are actually part of a paranormal team that keeps the action going in the story. There’s a good suspense element with Katherine’s greedy half-brother. Overall, I enjoyed this story. I’d recommend it to anyone who loves mate romances.
Susie is a victim of vampires. She’s broken and needs to heal. Terry may just be the one to heal her if his big mouth doesn’t scare her away. But a mystery is brewing as they get to know each other. Vampires, murder and a possible apocalypse...
There is an issue again with the point of view changes. They’re so abrupt from one person to another that it’s like whiplash. The story is about Susie who trying to deal with the fact that her date sold her out to a vampire. She’s traumatized and scared which just makes me want to hug her close. Terry is a former cop who is now mentally connected to David. It annoys him and it’s actually a really entertaining aspect! I like Terry. He seems sweet and sexy. Susie starts talking to him and accepting him and it feels very genuine. The sex scenes are hot but I thought Susie would have been more nervous and hesitant. There’s a great paranormal mystery going on with the romance. I enjoyed this story as much as the first two in the series.
Meagan is on the hunt for a killer but so is David. Can these two figure out the mystery and understand the paranormal ties?
There are too many point of view changes too quickly. I got whiplash and it is that way through most of the story. Thankfully, it is a great story! Meaghan is attracted to the mostly naked model but she can’t let it deter her from her mission: Find a killer. David is equally as attracted but he’s surprisingly on the same mission. When they’re together sparks fly but a killer still hunts in the shadows. Add in some paranormal elements and some sexy scenes for a good time! Overall this is an entertaining story. I’d recommend it to those who like paranormal mysteries. You should absolutely check out The Art of Seduction!

Widowhood is not quite what Sarah, former Lady Northenly, expected. A comfortable pension and quiet retirement seems attractive after ten years of staid and childless marriage, but estate solicitor William Burke has other ideas. Marrying again and to a commoner such as Burke are both out of the question until a mysterious death and attempted poisoning throw Sarah and William closer together than either one had planned.
This is an interesting period piece that cleverly illustrates the complexities of class distinction and the workings of estate law in a time gone by. Add in a little murder mystery, a heroine who is no shrinking violet, and an intelligent hero with experience in both the bedroom and the courtroom, you have a rather fresh take on a typically predictable and straight-laced historical romance. While the story is intriguing, some of the language is puzzling, particularly in the bedroom scenes where the outcome is obvious but the 'action' curiously choppy. However, readers can overlook this if sizzling graphical sex isn't their thing; and since this is the kick-off installment of a series, we may yet see more titillating escapades from what is shaping up to be an unusual crime-solving duo.
Stay tuned for the next exciting episode, same time, same channel!
One of my favorite m/m authors wrote a m/m/f story. Yeah, I am kind of nervous about this. The blurb did intrigue me so I gave this story a shot and wow, just freaking wow!
This is a fantasy world known as Otherworld where shifters and vampires and fairies live. The princess happens to only be part human. She’s also the one Alexander, the super sexy half vampire, is hired to kidnap. The problem is, he’s not only falling for her but her possessive bodyguard. When Princess Aneen is kidnapped they have to ban together to save her.
The world is freaking magical and amazing. I can’t believe how the author manages to create such rich details in a book that isn’t that long. I really want to sink into the pages and explore everything. Aneen, who I really like, is a sweetheart. She’s trying to be a good person despite everything her childhood threw at her being only half human. Alexander, oh my God, panty wetting, super sexy, need him right now, Alexander. Yeah, as you can guess I kind of like him. He’s a bad boy that is being tempted to stray from his criminal life by Aneen and her bodyguard Stefen. Stefen is the ultimate good guy. He wants to protect her but finds himself attracted to bad boy Alexander too. That scene in the boat, seriously hot. The moonlight beach with the boat burning behind them, oh my god hot. All three of them together and I swear I jumped my husband the second he came home. And then that twist at the end. I kind of had my suspicious but damn, I did not see it going that far! Gorgeous romance, ridiculously hot sex and a really rich world. I’m totally sold on this series!
