Summer Quinn has been away from her family’s ranch for a long time. Now she’s ready to come home. Can she handle what awaits her? Summer has been hurt and now she has lost her trust in men. Will she ever be able to trust again? Trouble is, she is in love with a man she never thought would want her. Barrett Thorne quit the rodeo circuit due to an injury. One more and it could have been fatal. After his wife leaves him, he feels less than desirable. All he wants is to work hard to forget his troubles. When Summer comes back things change for them. Can the two of them overcome their insecurities and be together.
I like this story. Two old friends reconnecting after years apart. This time things are different though. Feelings have surfaced and despite each having issues to deal with they come together with an intensity. The story is sweet and sexy all rolled into one. I do hope this turns into a series as I can see the other family members getting their story!

In this anthology you get six different stories by six authors. Each story is most definitely packed with steamy scenes with a lot of cowboy goodness. Since the stories are so short there isn’t much more to them. They did a good job with describing and characterizing, especially the cowboys! I just wish there's more story and less sex. My favorite story is Tied and Taken by BA Tortuga. The mystery of these two and how they are brought together again by sheer luck is great!

Huyana has a plan, but falling in love with Matthew Duggan was not in it. She has had a tough life starting at her conception. When she happens to meet Matthew and his family her life seems to head in a good direction for once. However she has had lots of letdowns and rejections through her life. She will have to learn to trust Matthew and open her heart and secrets if she wants things to work between them.
The story was ok. From the beginning it was slow going. I felt that some things could have been left out since it tended to drag things out and made it boring at times. Eventually the story picks up. I did like how the story was different from most historical romances. Huyana had a lot of secrets and surprises, which did make the story more appealing. The connection between Matthew and Huyana was nice but I felt there could have been more passion.
