Ireland! Squeee! I love books set in Ireland. And that cover is gorgeous! Nora Roberst creates a unique and entertaining tale. Iona, who bares the horse as her animal, is a wonderful, sweet, searching for love, kind of character. I liked her. Boyle is freaking fantastic. He's not the poetry spouting, romance on a whim, kind of guy and he's completely adorable. I liked him instantly. The roman is moved along but a fantastic plot of magic both dark and light. My only reason for four stars instead of five is the head hopping. There should not be a rookie mistake such as head hopping in a Nora Roberts book!
Dark WItch is a tale of magic, romance and faith, highly recommended! I look forward to reading the second book, Connor's story, in Shadow Spell.
