In this brilliant world by James Cox, three brothers are torn apart and they’re trying to find each other while everything around them continues to fall into despair. Children are going missing. Explosions and dirigibles make this romance book so much more.
Love! Yes, it’s love. Logan is officially my favorite character in this series. The first book is about Joshua and this one is about Logan, his brother. There are classic one-liners that I think Cox is known for and the sex, *douses self in ice water*. That should explain that but let me add, virgin, library, during a storm and hot, vulnerable men. *shivers* So, Logan is helping investigate the children being kidnapped because his younger brother is still missing. Meanwhile, him and Joshua (long lost brother) try to reconnect. Also the love interest Lucius, who is the leader in this resistance group, is trying to keep his distance because he’s secretly in love with Logan. Now, Logan is thinking maybe it has something to do with his mechanical arm. The miscommunication is quick and well handled. It feels real and not forced like some situations in books. Anyway, there are huge (seriously huge) revelations in this book that had my mouth dropping open! Gah, this series is fabulous!
If you haven’t read steampunk, read this!
If you like steampunk, this is a must read!
If you just like hot sex…yup, this’ll satisfy you!
If you like creative worlds and different plots, you guessed it, this is a must read!
So, my one question is…when can I read Alex’s story?! This is their younger brother, the one who is kidnapped and I have a feeling it’ll be a heart breaker. Cant. Wait! (Also, sorry about all the explanation points. I was a wee bit excited writing this review, lol.)

A sweet paranormal romance anthology…yeah, I can’t pass this up! This is an anthology by Roane Publishing.
Each story is absolutely sweet and I would even think this could be in the Young Adult section. Although the stories are on the rushed side, they’re fun to read and have wonderful plots. It’s the almost fairytale like book that really keeps you entertained. They are so sweet I am smiling and craving a good Disney movie. I know my kids will be joining me for that.
If you like sweet romance, Masked Hearts is highly recommended!
Lady Charlotte is the product of an arranged marriage and she refuses to fall into the same fate as her parents. Archibald is the man that may just be able to claim Charlotte as his own.
I’m not sure if this is historically accurate. I don’t read many historical books so I’m going to base my rating on the enjoyment of the story and I did enjoy it! Archibald’s family is terrible, I really wanted to scoop him up and give him a hug. Charlotte is fabulous! I love how brash and bold she is. It’s not normal for that time and I love her immensely. Together they make a great, sexy couple (who are both inexperienced and I found it endearing!) and I really enjoyed the story unfolding around them.

Jacky is on vacation in Alaska with her best friend Karen. Just breaking up with her boyfriend, she decides a trip overseas to see some Polar Bears in America is just what she needs! The last thing she expects is two men claiming to be her soul mates. Ashton and Raylock get a call from their cousin saying they found their mate. Rushing home to help they, don’t expect to find their own mate waiting for them. Everything is going great and Jacky submits to the attraction between the three of them. However they have enemies. When Jacky steps off their land she is taken by rogue vampires. Can they get her back in time or will it be to late?
I liked the story idea in general. The idea of protectors/peacekeepers of all things supernatural sounds thrilling. The characters are great together and the chemistry is off the charts. I do find the story a little to insta-love and quick in the beginning and then a little rushed at the end. I would have liked them to get to know each other more in the story. I think it would have pulled it all together more . All in all a nice short read with a promising set of other characters in this series.
All proceeds from this anthology will go to the charity for Pulse Victims ( LINK HERE) That alone should get you to give this book a try.
Although the stories aren’t all enjoyable, I found many of them well written and sweet. This is a great snippet of short stories. The heavy sadness from this day lingers and I think the small gift of this book towards the families will truly help. I want to thank all the authors who donated their time and stories as well as the publisher, eXtasy for their wonderful generosity.
Sara is the daughter of Senator Jentsen Holbrook. Her father also plans to run for president. Everything she does is under a watchful eye of everyone and she always does what she is told. And then she runs away from her obligations and wakes up in Cross deRaven’s and Erik Hale’s world. Two hot guitarists from the mega band Cinder. For the first time in her life she feels free, however, scandal from her behavior is inevitable.
The story from the start grabs you. The author details how Sara must behave and what’s expected of her. Then she all of a sudden does a 180 and everything changes. She meets two guys that are completely different from the world she has lived in and they treat her the way she deserves. Sara is given her voice and she finally takes action which I thoroughly enjoyed. I think the author does a great job with Sara’s story. The day to day living of a band on tour and living on a bus is great as well as hot and comical at times.
Every Single Part of You is well written and I can’t wait to see what is in store for the other band mates.

(I received this book 6 hours ago. That's right, 6 hours. I sat down to read a chapter or two and finished the whole damn book!)
How about some cool paranormal abilities like...teleporting fruit? Or a vampire that only drinks ‘skim’ blood and has fainting spells or a fire starter that has performance issues? This is fan-freaking-tastic! Welcome to the squad with defective paranormal abilities. Brilliant! Kyle sucks up people’s powers (and is so fabulously gay he sh*ts glitter) and his new partner is Vikash who has anger issues. Yeah, this is going to be epic.
Oh My God, get ready to laugh! There’s also some really good sex and a killer creature to catch. Yeah, this book is one that I will be recommending everywhere and waiting (im)patiently for the sequel. The dynamics between Kyle and Vikash is spot on. I mean spot freaking on. They feel real and there’s some snarky humor with the paranormal abilities. Even the other ‘officers’ are great! Anyway, back to Kyle and Vikash… you’d think with it being romance and paranormal that the suspense/mystery/cop aspect would get lost. But the author has the perfect balance. The sex scenes are hot and there’s some humor in there that makes it oh so much more. I can’t even tell you how fast I read this book or how much I loved it without blathering on like a rambunctious idiot. So…the moral of this review is READ THIS BOOK. Now that I am at the end of the book, the last page, I have one big question…when’s the next one coming out?!
Lime Gelatin and Other Monster is an epic book in a new series that you HAVE TO READ. Period. Read it!
Talia rules the clan by being the fastest shifter in the Trials. It’s the only thing that keeps her out of another shifter bed. That is until Vampire Hayden takes his place as her new trainer. But Hayden is more than just a good trainer. He has secret plans of his own.
This is a different plot, that really pulled me in. I love, absolutely love, Talia. She doesn’t put up with shit, she is tough but there’s this underlying hint of wanting. It is fabulous! Hayden is a great vampire, he’s not exactly a straight arrow either which I think makes his character more interesting. The story is short so it does feel rushed in some places.
Love shifters? Then you have to read Shifter Trails!
Sawyer and Andrew have a dark trouble past but can the love they feel for each other heal them?
Sawyer is one of those people/characters that grates on my nerves. The guy (Andrew) touches her hand and she’s all breath in, breath out. Really? I know he’s good looking but that’s eye roll worthy. She does get more depth as we learn about her past and her drinking. Andrew is a former marine who was lost his leg to an IED. He broke my heart! So sweet and sad and I want to hug him! Together they make a wonderful, flawed couple and I routed for them as I read.
If you like sweet romance, The Fundamental Theory of us should be your next read!
Meagan is tired of being innocent but betrayal makes her cautious of even Mr. Right.
This is the first book I’ve read in this series and I didn’t have an issue with the plot. It is a sweet yet sexy romance. Contemporary isn’t my first choice in genres but I really enjoyed this one. The characters really make this book. I routed from Meagan throughout the story. If you like romance, then you should pick up a copy of Meagan in the I Dare You series!
