Kevin, a lone wolf and Taylor, the Alpha’s son, are wolf shifters living in the big city. But a wedding in Taylor’s pack calls him home. Not wanting to deal with his mom’s match making, Taylor talks Kevin into coming with him as his plus one. Kevin is already fighting his feelings for Taylor, how much harder is it going to be pretending to be with Taylor when he’s not? And what is he going to do when Taylor returns to his pack permanently?
This is a really good story. It’s an easy to read, gentle love story with great main characters and a good plot. It hits all of the points it needed to. You understand Kevin’s position as a lone wolf, you feel Taylor as his feelings change for Kevin. And you feel for Taylor as he tries to balance duty and love. But I think with a small amount of work, a few more words; it had the potential to be a great story. I would have loved more of a look at the whole of Taylor’s pack and his two moms. But overall, I enjoyed the story and look forward to hopefully seeing more of this world.
