Grant finds Miranda with a bullet wound and a story. One that involves her witnessing a murder and that hitman is now after her. Can he keep her safe or will they both succumb to the dangers of crooked cops?
This is the first in a romantic suspense series which is one of my favorite genre’s! I really liked Miranda. She’s your average woman who is a witness to something horrific. Despite the bullet wound she now has to convince Grant that she’s innocent. Grant is seriously handsome and there is a sizzle of chemistry between them. There are some fantastic twists but I don’t want to give anything away. I suggest you read the book to find out just what’s going on. Not everything is as it seems. My only complaint is that the narrative is awkward in spots and I wish there was more romance. Overall, I really enjoyed this book. Solid four stars and I look forward to the next in the series.
Enjoy romantic suspense? Then you should definitely give The Hitman’s Mistake a read!
