Look at the gorgeous cover! I had to take a second to appreciate that.
Okay, the book. Coy returns home to find his grandmother murdered, his brother missing and then he’s thrown in jail for being a shifter. Coy cellmate is none other than August, the man who supposedly killed Coy’s grandmother. They must survive each other, secret shifters and a scary breeding program.
What a ride this book is! From the very beginning the story and characters grabbed me. I love Coy, absolutely love him! He’s just trying to improve his family’s life and everything goes to hell. August is about as sexy as they come. I love the push and pull between these two. They go through a wild journey and end up having intense feelings for each other. The world building is beautifully brilliant. I really can’t say enough good about this book. I’m so excited this is a series!
King of the Fire Dancers is a must read!
This is a m/m/f story. Just to remind you. I personally like that match so I was excited to read this fantasy story. Shanna is a princess about to gain the throne but her stepfather has other plans, nefarious, ominous plans. She’s not sure how to get the throne and survive. That is until a sexy prince and his bodyguard show up.
I really love Shana. She is such a great character. There’s a great balance to her. She’s not the damsel in distress but she isn’t some doormat either. Kallaar and Ahmla are fabulous! I like them and their relationship. It all reads very natural and sweet. The world building is beautiful. Who doesn’t love dragons?! The romance is hot. This is my first book by Megan Derr and certainly not my last. I hope all her books are as amazing as this one is. I did, almost, take a star off for that ending though. That is a big cliff hanger but I hope you’ll give this book a try anyway.
Waiting For You is a must read!

Beneath The Layers Anthology

Genre: Gay, Romance, Anthology

Rating: 3 stars - A Good Read!
Heat: 2/5 - Flirty!
This is an eight story anthology of men who like satin and lace. Each story revolves around the softer and more romantic sides of some hunky men. I liked the anthology. My favorite has to be Satin Secrets, I love sexy police officers. Although each story brought an interesting twist they are all a bit rushed. More heat would have been appreciated. I feel like there is this sexual tension in the stories but it isn’t fully explored. Let me just say, that cover is really beautiful. I like it’s simplicity.
Overall, Beneath the Layers is an interesting mix of gender friendly, lace loving men.
Jack is a hardened cop and he’s on the hunt for a serial killer. Will is a recluse and the only person to have escaped from this killer’s hands. Can he face the monster again and survive?
I love romantic suspense. It’s my thing. If I had one genre to choose from it’d probably be romantic suspense. This is a great story. The suspense aspect is a bit lacking but the romance is perfection. The brute that has a heart and the man he loves. Gah! So adorable. I really feel for Will and his tremendous courage to survive such an ordeal. This is a debut novel from this author so the small issues are really to be overlooked. I like the story, damn near love it. Give us more suspense, more action!
I can’t wait to read more from this author!

We’re visiting the crew of The Prayer as they become acquainted with their new home planet. As the crew’s pasts are revealed and mystery arises, there’s always sex to be had.
I fell in love with this crew over the past four books. They each have their own personality and distinction. The rejuvenation pill issue is a great plot idea. The sci fi aspect is fun but I’m not a fan of the ghosts and jumping into past memories. I found it very paranormal rather than sci fi. The baby cloning thing is interesting but again, not something that I think makes sense exploring. Maybe because the men are so openly sexual rather than in established relationships? Would one person watch the baby while the others go have orgies? Who decides which person stays? There are many questions that just make the cloned baby thing an odd choice for the story progression. The romance is certainly hot but a bit stale. All these guys going at it book after book. Don’t get the wrong idea, I love the previous books and I highly recommend them!
Cillian can look into people’s eyes and see their fates. He soon learns that Soren, a man that saved him years ago is still alive and he will stop at nothing to repay the favor...
This book takes place is Cillian’s point of view and I’m so glad it does. He’s a great character. Add that to the fantastic and sometimes over the top action. I found Soren a little hard to pin down but just as enjoyable. There’s mystery, gun fights, paranormal goodness, some sexy and lots of fun. This is a unique world the author created and I, for one, liked the tour through their imagination.
Soothsayer is a highly recommended read for paranormal lovers.
Matt is the captain of a less than honest ship and he’s been hired to take Ryce to a secret location to steal an alien artifact. Only Ryce is supposed to be the pilot and this employer isn’t exactly telling the truth. As trouble finds its way to the crew, Matt is both attracted to Ryce and suspicious. Where exactly is there location and what does this artifact do?
I absolutely love these kind of adventures, sci fi with some romance books. It combines all three genres and makes an epic read. This book had the adventure with Matt, Ryce and crew. The sci fi is a wonderful glimpse into the future of spaceships and roaming the universe. The romance is a bit thin though. Sure, they have great chemistry but I wish there was more of it. There are only a few kisses in this book and that’s it. I love the details of the ship and the world the author created. There’s action that really has me on the edge of my seat. This seems to be the first book in a series and I for one am looking forward to reading more.
Adrift is a highly recommended read!
The lost crew of The Prayer have settled down on a planet but a distress call from a nearby world may put them in danger.
If you haven’t read the previous books in this serious, I highly recommend them. It’s where we’re introduced to the crew of The Prayer and their sexy ways. They’ve been among the stars for a while now and in this book they settle down. The characters are just as on point and loveable as ever. I really like the action in this book too. There’s some BDSM and funny one liners. The great twists (So good!) and an overall sense of adventure is something that I really enjoyed. Couple that with the man on man love and this story has it all.

“Welcome to Worcester Foregate Station,” she began. “And congratulations on your promotion.”
“And on yours, ma’am.”
“What? Oh, yes, thank you.” It hadn’t struck her till then that obviously someone had briefed him on her just as she’d been briefed on him. “I’ve just been reviewing your details with Chief Superintendent Madden, and…”
“Hope you like it.” From somewhere between them a plate materialised, hovered at eye level before descending to land neatly in front of Dave. Above it was the still flushed but beaming face of Eileen.
“Great!” said Dave. Claire could see he was trying subtly but unsuccessfully to indicate to the girl through rapid eye movement alone that this was not the best moment to deliver breakfast.
