“It would not be only you pretending you might be interested in me,” Lord Littleton explained. “I would be seen to be interested in you as well.”
This still seemed unnecessary. Either Lord Harrington would want her for herself or not. She did not like to engage in deceptions. “To what purpose?”
“My dear lady.” Lord Littleton possessed himself of her hands, his gaze capturing hers.
Good Lord, the man was dangerous. She sent a prayer of thanks to the deity that she was not affected by him. “Do you do that on purpose?”
He shook his head and stared at her. “Do what?”
Elizabeth narrowed her eyes at him. “Look into a woman’s eyes as if she were the only lady on earth you wished to be with.”
“Ah, no,” he said a little sheepishly. “It just happens. I can’t seem to stop myself.”
“It’s like this, Lizzy”—her brother cut in—“any gentleman who’s interested in a lady don’t wish to see another man making up to her.” He gave his friend a disgusted look. “Littleton agreed to help, but you can see how dangerous it is for him to be in Town. He truly can’t help himself from flirting, and he’ll soon find himself in a bumble-bath if he remains too long. He’s not ready for a leg-shackle yet, but he’d be bound to raise some lady’s expectations and that won’t do.”
“That’s it exactly.” Lord Littleton must have realized he was still holding Elizabeth’s hands and released them. “But that’s not the only reason Turley and I thought I’d be the best one. You see, Harrington and I never got on well together. That will give him the extra incentive to court you properly.”
“And,” Gavin added, “Littleton is so full of juice that he is just as eligible as Harrington. Other than the title that is.”
Her brother and Lord Littleton focused their gazes on her, and she glanced from one man to the other. “I understand.” Or she thought she did. Men were such strange creatures. She wondered why Lord Harrington did not like Lord Littleton. He seemed amiable enough. “Very well, then. How do we begin?”

Makenna and Caden are simply two strangers on an elevator until it breaks down. They’re stuck in the dark for hours and Caden has a fear of dark confined spaces. When they play a game of twenty questions to calm him down, they find they have a lot more in common then either of them could imagine.
Caden! Oh my God, Caden! I’m a sucker for lip rings and tattoos. Caden’s also got a good heart and a tragic past. Makenna is having a bad day that just keeps getting worse. She’s adorable and sweet and I totally love her. Together they’re stuck in that elevator and learn about each other. Yeah, it leads to some good stuff but it also really showcases their romance. I really wish the story was longer because I’d love to learn more about Makenna and Caden’s journey. I checked and this is actually the first in the series. I’ve already ordered the second book, Love in the Light. I can’t wait!

Sexy shifters here I come!
Derrick posed for a calendar photo shoot where he was poisoned. Not only is he still feeling crappy but he’s got some PTSD from his experience. He meets short but adorable shifter Niall, his well-crafted plans are once again up in smoke. Will an unexpected part of his past break them apart?
Derrick is a bit shy (until he gets Niall on his back), blushes a lot and is dealing with trauma from the poisoning. Naill is adorable, short, leprechaun like (Derrick’s words) and fun. They meet randomly and instantly hit it off. Naill’s flirting ways gets him a date with Derrick and they rest as they say is history. Or rather is the whole plot for Mr. May. This is a cute romance with really likeable characters. The shifter park is really interesting. I like the imagery and building of it into the story. There some suspense in here that I really enjoyed. It gave some action and pace to the book.
If you like shifter story’s with hot sex and a bit of suspense then you should definitely read Mr May by Bailey Bradford!
Clarie is doing a paper on her favorite writer, Liam. The problem is, he lives in a remote area that just had a really bad snow storm. Now she’s trapped in the cabin with this gorgeous, tortured guy. He agrees to the interview but only if she sleeps with him...
So normally, meeting and then having sex wouldn’t have made a good start. I’m so damn impressed with this author because that beginning worked. The characters feel real and deep from the very start and the sex between strangers is well done here. (I never thought I’d say that but it’s true). And that first sex scene! Holy F&^*ing hell! Scorching hot doesn’t even do it justice. It is so much more. (My husband thanks the author for a great night, by the way). The author could have eased up on the sex after that. There were three or four in a row. A bit much. I did find myself enjoying the story more after that though. Clarie, doing her thesis on the famous writer, Liam, start to date. Or they would have if the story hadn’t ended. They have sex a few times and then there’s an epilogue. Damn it, this author showed so much promise. The sex is hot, if a little to frequent. The characters are interesting but the story is more of a snippet rather than a book. That’s a shame, because I think this author has serious talent.
This is the third book in the series but it can be read as a stand alone. Dan Stagg has become a victim of the war on terror but he wakes up and it’s placed on a top-secret mission ...
This is my first time reading this series and it starts with Dan in the news. A victim in a terrorist attack but he doesn’t find himself in heaven or hell. Instead he’s in a hospital bed with his sexy nurse Luiz. They have a great repertoire. I instantly like Dan. Not just because he’s a soldier and a hero but his personality. There is a bit of backstory glazed over from the previous books but not reading them didn’t deter from this story in any way. The romance between Luiz and Dan is actually glossed over and I see why. He isn’t the main focus, actually romance isn’t the main focus at all in this story. It’s pretty much just sex with Luiz. There’s also Merek and Reeve and Kieran and Jackson and Oz and Joshua and Dakota and Lukas and they hinted at Oliver. Wow, this guy has a ridiculous amount of stamina. Dan had a plethora of sex partners but they are all cardboard, which is a shame because Dan himself has so much personality. The sex wrestling is pretty hot though.
The suspense/action is excellent. There’s an entire web of plot twists with enough action to keep the book an enticing read. I wouldn’t call it a romance. Or even put it in the romance category. It’s an action book about spies and terrorists that has a very horny main character.
Still In The Ring is entertaining. I’d read more in this series and I’d recommend it!

Darian is running from her ex. The problem is that she runs right into Bull’s arms. The sexy older biker has a thing for her, a soft spot but will their differences get in the way of what could be both their happy endings?
The writing style just killed me! This is a good story but I hate that both the main characters are in first person point of view. I wish authors would stop doing that. It makes the characters muddled. This story is average length over one hundred pages and there is a great balance of sex vs story. I like the action. It definitely has a feel of realism. The sex is very hot but again that damn point of view style got in the way. I also like the age gap. The whole older man, younger woman thing is a turn on. I’ve been a big fan of the biker craze so this genre is a go to for me. I would definitely continue this series if the author changed the point of view style.
Dwayne is brand new to town and he’s fallen in lust with the fire chief’s daughter. The problem is, she doesn’t want him. If he could just get her to give him a chance...
I like gentle persistence in a man. Dwayne is just that. Blair is a sweet, small town girl who got burned by her last relationship. She feels she’s not strong enough to deal with this new thorn in her side but he’s wearing her down. I like how they are together. It’s like the two nicest people in the world came together and fell in love. Well, Dwayne has some hot dialogue so he isn’t the nicest person (dirty, sexy dialogue). I wish the scene where they are watching the other couple in the lake was longer. That is deliciously hot. I also like the idea that Dwayne has had sex with a man in the past. There’s literally one line in the story about it but it makes me like him even more because he’s so comfortable with his sexuality. I like this story. It is short with low angst and great sex.
Wicked Fireman is a sexy short story perfect before bed or before your husband comes home!
Nora is stuck in a small town in the US when she’s swept offer her feet by a sweet-talking Scotsman. He whisks her from her boring life and for awhile she’s happy. But his possessiveness begins to grate on her and just when she decides she can’t be in this marriage anymore, he’s no longer in the story. Now, she’s left feeling hallow and drifting through life. When Aiden comes along it’s only because of a beautiful, sick child name Sylvie. But maybe, just maybe, she’ll find something with Aiden she never expected. Forever.
Some sections are so vague it actually makes several plot points confusing. Who was the guy in the beginning? (Yes, we eventually find out, but starting with that is unclear). Who is ‘gone’ at the end of chapter six? Okay, it’s quickly discovered who and how but the way it’s written is very baffling. The flashbacks also felt very telling rather than being in the story. Despite all that, I kept reading because I fell in love with Nora. Her personality is addicting and feels so real. Then Aidan comes into the story and I am about blow off my feet. I love the way she writes the accents! Love. Love. Love. There’s some unexpected drama in the story between Nora and Aiden that I thought works really well. It really ups the tension and I love how Nora doesn’t immediately take him back. She really shows her backbone and I am proud of her for that. Also really, really hot in the romance department. Samantha Young is a freaking genius writing romance. I know I called her brilliant before but damn it, it’s so freaking true. The ending is so stunningly beautiful.
I can’t wait to read the next book in the series!
Isabella: I was seventeen when my daddy gave me to Torch, who inked me, kissed me, then watched me walk away. I was supposed to return after I graduated, but instead I ran. Now I'm back, ready to face whatever fate awaits me. He's probably pissed, and rightly so. It was only supposed to be a short separation, but three years have passed. I expected yelling, maybe some public humiliation. It never occurred to me he'd kiss me so deeply, so passionately that I'd be begging for more. He'll be my first, my last, my only... because I'm his, and he's never going to let me forget it.
Torch: For years, I've kept my distance, watching over the girl I claimed as my own. She wears my brand, and I know it's only a matter of time before she comes home. I remembered a stunning young woman, but it's a siren who walks back through my door, all luscious and curvy. There may be about thirty years between us, but fuck if I care what people think. I want her. She's mine, and I'm going to remind her of that. I'll take her any way I can, as often as I can, and when I'm done, she'll never again think of walking out the door. Because what she doesn't know is that she's done the impossible... she's claimed the heart of a man who didn't think he had one. Now that she's worked her way deep inside, I'll rain down hell on anyone who tries to keep us apart. No one's going to come between us, especially not the man who gave his daughter to me -- not even if he has the entire cartel army on his ass.
favorites. But I finished my first book in 2008, and it was accepted for publication (under another name). I guess I became a little addicted after that because I’m almost always writing now.
Do you plot when you write?
No. I have a general idea of what will happen in a story, just a broad picture. The details come to me as I’m writing, and sometimes a twist will happen that I didn’t even see coming. I’ve tried outlining an entire book before, and it didn’t really work out for me. I like creating as I go. I guess there’s a certain freedom to it. With a detailed outline, I felt like the walls were closing in on me. It’s definitely more fun to make it up as I go along.
What can you tell us about your Dixie Reapers MC series?
It’s a mix of men from different backgrounds, and different ages. The ones who have a story written already are older men, but that won’t be the case for the entire series. I do have a tendency to pair younger women with older men, but I think that’s just because it’s my personal preference. My husband is quite a bit older than I am, and I’ve always been attracted to older men. As I’ve told my readers before, if I weren’t married, I totally date the guy on Torch’s cover. I’m not even 40, but he’s a sexy silver fox.
Would you like to share a snippet from Torch?
I’d love to! This is from the beginning of the book and it’s in Isabella’s point-of-view:
“Open the gates,” I demanded, trying to sound tougher than I was.
He licked his lips, apparently thinking he was getting his fondest wish. The gate slid open, and I strolled through on my heeled boots that hugged my calves and stopped just below my knees. The gate closed behind me, and the Prospect placed his hand on my waist. I quickly removed it.
“Why don’t you get on your knees and give my cock some attention?” he said, starting to unfasten his belt.
“Or you could keep your pants zipped and your dick attached,” I said.
“Did you just threaten to remove my dick?”
“Oh, I won’t be the one removing it. Torch will.”
He sneered at me. “And why would Torch give a shit about some whore who showed up uninvited?”
I held up my forearm, the brand that said Property of Torch clearly on display. I’d been marked when I was seventeen. My dad hadn’t wanted to take a chance Torch would back out of the deal later. Because I’d been underage and a virgin, Dad had refused to let Torch claim me in any other way, but I was his just the same. And I’d damn sure never told my dad about the kiss I’d shared with Torch. That kiss had remained with me all these years. I still could taste him when I closed my eyes.

Dylan’s crappy apartment gets worse when a bathtub falls through the ceiling. He crashes at his partner’s house but the cozy arrangement turns into an unexpected romance…...
These guys are hysterical and sexy. I love both Tyler and Dylan, though I do wish the author would have separated their names a bit more. Dylan had a major issue with a bathtub in his house at two in the morning and at the crack of dawn he goes to bother his partner Tyler. I love them together. They have great back and forth chemistry. This is a short story that has a pretty big punch. The romance between them is super-hot and also sweet. I really enjoyed this story and would totally recommend it to anyone who likes m/m.
