Maya believes in a prophecy to free her, to find her one true love. Too bad that man happens to be Quincy, who believes love is for fools and everything has a price. Magic, Crowns and the chance for a happy ending…
Maya is a very likeable character if a little too hopeful. She pins her future on her mate who as it turns out doesn’t believe in love. That makes for a good character conflict. Quincy has had a hard life and I just wanted to hug him! He’s been through so much and it has darkened him. Their romance is overly sweet in some places but also very hot. I like how the author blended the action with magic and sex. It made for a page turning read.

Alex does not expect to fight for her life in a parking lot against something that can’t possibly be human. She’s confused and honestly, who wouldn’t be freaked out? Then her aunt lets her in on a big family secret. Alex is an immortal element. Collum is her guardian dragon. Yeah, that’s right dragon! (*giddy excitement*) He’s going to train her to use her Fire abilities. But a fight is coming that may be more than either of them can win.
The world building in this story is fabulous! I love the complexity and details. Alex has to learn about this world and train for a big fight but she’s having trouble concentrating with the sexy Collum so close. And sexy is the best word to describe this dragon. Their romance at the beginning is too quick. I didn’t feel that connection because they didn’t really know each other. I wish the author gave that a bit more time to develop like the world building. The action is really great and I love the plot. I’m excited to read more stories in this world.
Harry Potter meets the m/m romance genre.
Tristan is an unlicensed magician investigating a series of suspicious suicides. Jarek is an incubus with secrets and a serious attraction to Tristan. As magic unfolds around them, can they find love in each other’s arms?
This has so much freaking potential! Wonderful, unique plot and amazing characters. I love Tristan, he is so lost and down. I want to hug him tight. Jarek is a sexy incubus that is drawn to Tristan. I like them together. Their romance is too quick though, maybe that had something to do with the length of the book. I really wish the story is longer so we can really explore the magical world and hot characters. I want to read more in this series but only if the story is more fleshed out/longer.

The Pirate Fairy…yup, it’s as unique as the cover. Denny is cursed with wings and as intimidating as he is as a pirate, the wings don’t help. He misses his prince lover and the crew eventually sells him to a slave ship.
This is a swashbuckler read full of sexy men and great magic. I really enjoyed the plot and the characters, Denny, in particular, is fantastic. The world building in this book is well done. I could smell the sea air and hear the flutter of wings. *Giggles* The sex in this book is very hot. I think some sections are a bit slow moving but overall a wonderful tale that any bearded pirate would be happy to read.
This is the end of the O'Dwyer trilogy by Nora Roberts. They must be read in order. This is Branna and Fin's story.
My favorite thing about this series is the detail. Ireland is seen on the page, smelt in the words. If feels like you're there. I like this story but it was very similar to the first two books. I'm glad they finally destroyed the evil wizard Cabhan. It is an epic battle at the end but the way to kill him is hinted at heavily in the previous book so it isn't a surprise. I enjoyed this series and recommend it if you like sweet romance and anything Irish.
Enforcers #5 (Must be read in order)
Author: Ravon Silvius
Genre: Gay, magic, fantasy, romance
TBR Reviewer: Bella Star
Rating: 4 Stars - Recommended Read
Heat: 3/5 - Blush Worthy
Kenneth, war mage, is recovering from his previous torture at home with his troublesome parents and his lover, Thorn. He happens to be Kenneth's enforcer partner and a talentless. But the peace doesn't last long.
This is not a standalone series so I suggest reading the previous books. They were all great so no hardship there. Once again we're swept into this amazing, violent, beautiful world thanks to the author. Thorn and Kenneth are still trying to blend the torn world of the mages and the talentless while dealing with Kenneth's parents. There was tons of action, magic and story. The reason for the 4 star review was actually the sex. It was sexy but there were so many sex scenes and so similar that they became repetitive thus lost my interest. But the story was so wonderful I really suggest you pick up this series!
Recovery is a magical story in an amazing series by a very talented author!
This short story is full of adventure and magic, with a dash of love, and a pinch of heated scenes. Ms. Pilla does a top notch job of pulling you into a world where magic is alive and well, and never lets you return to normal society. From the moment I entered the story in the 1880’s and learned our heroine Liza, was a Siren about to tell her husband and child of her birthright, I knew things wouldn’t end well. With the height of the witch hunting going on, I never understood why she chose to do that. She and the others adults of her kind were killed, while their daughters escaped with their lives. Liza’s daughter, Grace however, never forgot and took her revenge on the village years later. Funny thing about the past, it has a way of catching up with you eventually.
One hundred years in the future, Grace is caught off guard by an enemy seeking revenge for that night the village burned, putting her entire family in danger. Grace was a damaged, bull headed, occasionally irksome gal, er… Siren. Willing to fight to the end for her family, I admire her loyalty and sass. The hero Jacob, whom she meets on the run is a charming, handsome, sorcerer. In the end I was ambivalent about him. I didn’t dislike him, but I didn’t love him.
There were so many things going on, I didn’t think this story really read as a romance, but more of a paranormal adventure with some romantic elements. I adored the magical elements! The powers, descriptions, and plot were exciting and unique details. I devoured her lore and interesting concepts for well known creatures like a woman lost in the desert.
There was little to no time to fully develop the romance or make me fall for the characters, but I didn’t mind that. I liked it as an adventure with romantic elements. If you go in expecting that I think this is easily a four star that will satisfy and intrigue you.

This is book 4 in the Enforces Series. I read book One a while ago but didn’t realize there was more out. I bought book two, loved it and tried book three and loved it even more. When I saw that Book 4 was up for review I quickly snatched it up. Would this book be as good as the first three?
As you can see from the rating this book was so amazing! The world building was so fantastic, I could see each magical glow and the unique towns/cities. Our MC’s Kenneth (Mage) and Thorn (Talentless) are on another adventure as Enforcers. This time they have to deal with the aftermath of their last mission. They both want to find a horrible mage called Alder but it appears there’s more to this problem then just one man. I really loved the magical aspect of this story. The author has such a wonderful way of pulling a reader into the story. I couldn’t put this book down, during the action or the world building or the really hot sex. My only real issue and it’s so tiny it didn’t hurt the rating was the editing. It could have definitely used another more thorough edit. However, that didn’t take away from how amazing Capture was.
This entire series, Enforces by Ravon Silvius is a must read if you like hot m/m action with a fantastic, magical backdrop.
Emma is a witch and she’s been hired to bring a corpse back (make him a zombie) long enough to answer a couple of questions from his brother. After that, the zombie (Peter) is supposed to go right back to sleep (death). Unfortunately, not only does Peter not initially realize he’s a zombie, but he manages to escape the protective spell that Emma put up to contain him. She is forced to turn to Garret, her ex and a death-spell expert (necromancer), to get some help in retaking control of the zombie so she can put him back to rest.
This was a quick read and really easy on the senses. Emma is a spunky character who unfortunately got pulled into the zombie-raising by a man up to no good. Garret was willing to do what was necessary and didn’t hold any grudges for the relationship having previously failed. When Emma called for help, he leaped to it. There was a nice interplay and potential sequel bait in the love/not-love relationship between Garret and his brother. I’d love to know what the brother did to have to avoid police attention, given he seems to be a white witch/healer type.
This book didn’t push any boundaries, and in the case of Peter and his widow, it was a lovely testament to eternal love and how powerful wedding vows can be in a world where magic exists. I would happily read other books by Ms. Rosewarne and am very grateful to her for sending this one to review.

I was hooked from the moment seventeen year old, Dani pricked her finger on a magical rose bush. Together Again is a humorous, well-thought out, sensual take on time travel. An avid Dr. Who fan, I came with high expectations. I have to say Ms. Barbour delivered. She weaved from the past and present with the sure strokes of a strong swimmer.
Dani is nothing short of incredible. Aged beyond her years, the seventeen year old posses a witty
intelligence I found enchanting. With a hard to please and extremely controlling mother, this adventure couldn’t have happened to a more perfect person, which really made you believe the way she reacted to events that unfolded.
The hero Troy is a sexy investigator on the trail of “the” big story when he’s whammed by a spirit who turns his entire world upside down. Beneath his tough exterior lies the heart of a generous man
who’d sacrifice to help someone in need. I enjoyed watching him grow and figure his way out of the situations he was placed in. I want to say more but it might ruin your experience with spoilers, and that’s just not my style. *winks*
Full of twists, turns, and a wide range of emotion, this is a satisfying tale you’ll read time and time again. The romance scenes in the book were made so much hotter by the undeniable connection that existed between Dani and Troy. I loved that this romance came from such an internal place. Without the
trappings of external façade you’re staring at the 'Soul' of a person.
I highly recommend this very unique story of love and growth.
