“Welcome to Worcester Foregate Station,” she began. “And congratulations on your promotion.”
“And on yours, ma’am.”
“What? Oh, yes, thank you.” It hadn’t struck her till then that obviously someone had briefed him on her just as she’d been briefed on him. “I’ve just been reviewing your details with Chief Superintendent Madden, and…”
“Hope you like it.” From somewhere between them a plate materialised, hovered at eye level before descending to land neatly in front of Dave. Above it was the still flushed but beaming face of Eileen.
“Great!” said Dave. Claire could see he was trying subtly but unsuccessfully to indicate to the girl through rapid eye movement alone that this was not the best moment to deliver breakfast.

Paranormal? Check. Sexy men? Big check. Adventure and action? Double check. As you can probably tell this book checked all the right boxes for me. Talon is a transformed and distrusted by most of the people around him. Now in the FBI he’s partnered with a regular human, Finn, who turns out to be anything but ordinary.
So. Much. Emotions! I love this book. From Finn’s heartbreaking family situation to Talon being looked down on. Each man has flaws and each tries to overcome them. I truly enjoyed watching their, almost a dance, with each other. The push and pull, the kiss and retreat. I’m swooning over Finn and Talon. Couple them with a fantastic, action packed story and you have Five Minutes Longer. Now, there are a few things in the plot that are over the top or just plain odd and the pace of things could be smoothed out more. Minor details that I hope won’t stop you from giving this book a try. I can’t wait to read more in this series!
Five Minutes Longer is a highly recommended read!
Title: The Hotter The Love
Hot Model Mine #3
Author: Lea Bronsen
Genre: Contemporary, Romance
TBR Reviewer: Bella Star
Rating: 3 stars - A Good Read!
Heat: 4/5 - Smoking Hot!
Yushka is a sexy cover model that proposes to his author girlfriend Andrea but nothing is going to be easy in this relationship…
I haven’t read the first two books in the series and I think you really need too. I didn’t feel the chemistry between Yushka and Andrea at first. It did slowly build up as I read the book and by the end I really enjoyed them both. There is a lot to follow in this book. The relationship between Andrea and Yushka. Yushka’s pregnant Ex. Andrea’s son’s girlfriend hitting on her fiancé. Andrea’s ex trying to get her back. Working with a new model in suggestive poses. I think it all plays out well, it’s just a lot of story for this short of a book.
I did absolutely love the wedding at the ending! I'd definitely check out more books by this author.
Her name is Jenna Strong and she's been imprisoned by this futuristic government ruler called ACID. The reason? She killed her parents or at least, she thinks she did. But soon after she breaks out of prison she learns ACID's true motives. They stole her life. Now she wants it back.
I love futuristic stories with a kick butt female lead and Jenna play that part perfectly. She's been through so much in her young life and it's all because of ACID. From the prison she resides in at the beginning of the book, the futuristic world she runs through hiding from them and the secret prison at the end, it is a wild ride! I love how the whole plot plays out. There are lots of twists, some of which I guessed, others I didn't. They are all fantastic! The world this author created is wonderfully dark and I hope she writes more in this series.
Like bad girls who can back up their bark with bite? Then you have to read ACID by Emma Pass!
This is a m/m, military anthology. I know I was excited when I read that too, and these short stories pack a romantic punch.
One Night with You’ by Megan Slayer.
‘Spoil of War’ by Helena Maeve
‘Would You Wait for Me?’ by Anna Lee
‘An Interesting Find’ by Lucy Felthouse
‘Gods of Vengeance’ by Thom Collins
I am pleasantly surprised by these stories. They all have a different but fantastic feel to them. They could have easily been novellas and I got them all here in one book! That makes this woman very happy. I really liked the romance, all the characters are well written. My favorite story has to be Gods of Vengeance by Thom Collins. This story is insanely good! The plot, the characters, even the romance is spot on (and sexy). I’m going to have to find more books from that author. I’d buy the book just for Gods of Vengeance but each story is a great addition.
Brothers in Arms in a fantastic anthology that I highly recommend!
Naked men is a fantastic name for a series, just saying. This is book one and it’s about Griffin. He’s always helped people, from a bus crash with his friends to the latest reckless stint that has him suspended. Chloe is a normal girl, doing normal things without leaving her comfort zone. That all changes when she meets Griffin…
Griffin has a hero complex, he likes to save people and I adore that about him. He’s funny, flirty and takes an interest in Chloe. He has some moments where I just want to slap him in the back of the head though. Chloe is trying to overcome her past or rather, hide from it. She doesn’t like adventure and she prefers boring and normal. It is fun reading how Griffin takes her out of that narrow look on life. Sometimes Griffin and Chloe’s reactions are too…harsh. It sort of diminished my love for them. I did love the whole ‘naked men blog’. I enjoyed this story!
Risking it All is a recommended read. I look forward to reading more in this series.
Up and coming artist Martin saves Andre from preforming sexual favors for a place to stay. It isn’t exactly based on kindness, Martin is attracted to Andre from the first time they meet. Will jealous destroy the fragile bond forming between these two men?
This story is in Martin’s point of view and I feel this is a wise decision on the authors part. It shows the dark parts of Martin’s mind but also how he falls in love with Andre. The sexy dishwasher himself has had a hard past. He’s trying to be himself and get over the hatred he’s come to face over the years. The mystery aspect of this story is like following a breadcrumb trail and at the end you can finally fit all the piece together. Beautiful! I like the twists and the romance is very sexy.
Andre in Flight is a highly recommended read!
Title: Monster Boots
Author: D. Cooper
Genres: Children, Literature, Fiction, Bullies
TBR Reviewer: Amy
Rating: 4 Stars - Recommended Read!
A bully by the name of Wild Billy Buffoon shows up and leaves more than his footprints. With the help of his two stomping feet, Billy pushes the town of Foots past it’s limits. That is until the town has had a enough. Then the sheriff confronts Billy and his bully ways.
This is a story that shows the aspect of bullying. Wild Billy is a big old bully and instead of one single person he ends up bullying the town. He is not a nice person and doesn’t care who he hurts. Then the town sheriff finally takes a stand and makes Billy understand that what he is doing is not right.
I think the story is told well, especially in terms of describing how a bully is and reacts. It has a great meaning as well as resolution for smaller children to understand along with relate able characters. I give this story 4 stars because it has a real meaning and teachable aspect to it.
Three Short Stories involving middle-aged couples who've 'lost the spark' and are looking to spice up their sex lives with a little pharmaceutical help. And boy, do they spice it up. From a mid-life couple who rekindles their relationship by making a porn video to a menopausal wife who lets the threesome genie out of the bottle, these stories ought to come with their own pharmacy label complete with dosage instructions and warnings of possible side effects!
The dialogue and situations portrayed in this book are on one hand preposterous (I'm unaware of any 'pink pill' for women currently on the market) but wildly hilarious and entertaining on the other! Either way, you won't be able to stop reading! The writing style is straightforward and the author pulls no punches in describing explicit sexual acts. This book is refreshing with its blunt language and unique subject matter. No holds barred! There are several typos but they don't get in the way of the stories. I like the book because it made me laugh! The 'pills' are fictitious so its kind of a fantasy piece. If a quick fix is what you need, there's no better prescription than Pink Pill Blue Pill!
Today I’m interviewing Brodie Murdock from Tartan Temptation:
“So you living in a little town in Maine, what do you do for a living there?”
“I’m a handy man.” He wiggles his fingers. “I’m good with my hands. I love to fix things and bring them back to their original beauty. I get a sense of accomplishment when things are working correctly.”
“What is your favorite food?”
“Ice cream from my aunt’s shop, Cherry’s Jubilee Parlor. She makes it the old fashion way with seaweed. It has this wonderful taste and texture. You can’t beat it.”
“What did you think of Cora Siegfried when you first met?”
“Cora and I met when we were kids. She’d come to town during summer vacation to visit her father. We’d race our bikes up and down the street. Then we’d go get ice cream for Cherry’s Jubilee Parlor. What did I think of her? She was cute, funny and always share her cone with me.”
“Do you believe in love at first sight?”
“Yes. Well — as a kid I didn’t know what love was but yes, I always knew we’d be together. Then she stopped come and I didn’t think it would ever happen. But she came back to settle her father’s estate, and we literally ran into one another. It’s fate for us to be together.”
“Please describe Cora in one word.”
“I can describe her in two words. My destiny.”
Thanks for visiting with me today.
