My name’s Tevy and you’ll find me staring out the window of a psychiatric center. I’m not crazy, I don’t think. I see angels. Not the sweet faced, flowing robe kind either. I see sword-wielding, flying over our heads and killing each other angels. Everyone thinks I’m nuts, which is why I’m in here. For a while, I thought maybe that something went wrong in my head, maybe from my parents dying. But I was wrong, terribly wrong about everything: my parents, the angels, who I truly am or rather what I am. Once I’m out, I have to dodge the angels without raising anyone's suspicions including the boy next door that has some secrets of his own. Dylan soon learns I’m not as normal as I pretend to be, but will he tell? Crazy or not, I can’t go back to the isolation ward.
A microscopic parasite has crippled humanity with night terrors and paralyzing anxiety. In this world of increasing dystopia, hope yet remains in Karma City. But when mercenary drifter, Jameson Shoals, learns that a famous scientist has created a stronger parasite to kill the original, it isn’t until the bodies litter the streets that he realizes the horrifying truth: the new parasite is a killer with a mind of its own, and upon dominating Patient Zero, this killer acquires legs, hands, and eyes. It falls upon Shoals and his partner, a deadly female mercenary, to stop PZ and his mob before they can overcome and supplant humankind.
Mason thought he was out of the prison gang. He’s trying to turn his life around. When he meets Mia, she nearly kills him with her car. Once they meet the sparks fly but soon, they find out that the gang wants Mason back…
I love romantic suspense so I immediately snatched up this book to review. I really like Mason. He had a hard exterior from his difficult life and he is truly trying to better himself. Him and Mia have a great chemistry. It is a little too serendipitous that her brother is Mason’s parole officer. The action is provided by the gang and their interest in Mason. The sex is so hot, I mean smoking! Mason certainly knows how to get a woman excited.
This is the first book I’ve read by the author and certainly not the last! If you love romantic suspense this should be high on your tbr list!

This book is about recovery and second chances.
Bridget is raising her son Kyle alone but Adam, the baby’s father, is now out of jail. He wants to win back the woman he loves and the son he wants to get to know. But can he convince them that he’s done with alcohol and gang banging. Can he be the man they both need?
There were a lot of heavy subjects in this book. The gang life, prison, addiction and it all gave the book a very real feel. I felt bad for Bridget who had to deal with raising Kyle and the man she loves spiraling out of control. I felt happy when Adam is finally turning his life around with help from counseling and truly wanting to be there for them. They have a push and pull relationship that just makes them grow closer as Adam recovers. I enjoyed their story. Some scenes are a bit slow moving. The sex is good but this more of an emotional book rather than a romance. Redeemed is an intricate, heavy story that I enjoyed reading.
Charlotte has been in love with her best friends but to spare their feelings she leaves town. Sure, she keeps in touch but her heart never gets over them. When she returns, she meets her high school friends turned sexy shifters and things will never be the same.
Charlotte is in love with her best friends who happen to be … brothers. Yup. Brothers. I’m not a fan of brothers loving the same woman. Even if they don’t touch each other, which they don’t in this book, it’s still not sexy. I had a hard time getting into the book for that reason. That said this is a good shifter book. I did like Charlotte. She tries to do the right thing by leaving them so she doesn’t hurt either one. When she returns it’s like fire is under her skin at the sight of them. Now, they have to tell her that they’re shifters and then a dangerous suspense twist is added to the plot. I did like the danger and action with that. I had a good time trying to figure out who the ‘bad guy’ was. This author does a great job with the suspense! Artic Spirit is an interesting shifter story with a romantic shifter plot.
Want a book to cheer you up? Not complicated. A feel-good story. A quickie. This one’s for you.
Mercedes’ a sexy barmaid. Scott is trying to sell a new brand of beer to the bar. Sparks fly, but Mercedes keeps him at arm’s length. Fate takes a hand. She’s struggling with a lock…he helps out…they kiss. She gives him her phone number.
The story flips between their two perspectives, and there isn’t any head-hopping. You discover their hopes…desires…and fears. Don’t want to spoil the story…but, when Scott tries to call, it’s a wrong number. He thinks he’s been played. Mercedes gave her real number and can’t understand why he didn’t call. Cameron keeps you in suspense. Eventually…they have sex, but Scott doesn’t want a relationship! This is one bumpy road to true love. Hint the ending is happy-ever-after. Mercedes character is well developed…and, I rooted for her. It took a while for Scott to grow on me. I couldn’t understand why he only wanted sex. It is explained. The sex scenes are hot and descriptive…especially the kisses! I loved this one dance scene with plenty of bumping, grinding and groping. The sex scenes flow and felt part of the story…not plugged in.
In my opinion, this is a recommended read and should be on your TBR pile. I enjoyed Risking it with Scott.
considered family, and Four, a trainee from the male division. Sometimes you had to take what you could get, and a life outside the Institute was worth it, no matter the cost.
