Sonia's dream job is to coordinate and plan social events. When she is given the opportunity to plan a big dinner for her boss and the company shareholders, she sees her chance to show her talents. The dinner is to be held at a restaurant owned by the charming and attractive Tony, who goes out of his way to make Sonia feel special when they are working together. A crisis on the evening of the big dinner forces Sonia and Tony to work together to save the evening and they both realize that they make a great team both in and out of the kitchen.
This was a perfect little pick me up, short story. The author does a great job with creating characters that are not overly complex , but still makes the reader feel like they know and are interested in the characters. The story is well balanced without any loose ends when finished and I love the interactions and intimate scenes between Sonia and Tony. This was one of those rare short stories that leaves you as satisfied as a full length novel.
