Lee never thought he’d find his mate at a club, but even less so, did he expect him to be, Alkaline, the leader of the mafia organization known as the Claws. If the lion shifter were not an alpha, things might be easier, but as it is, his mate is bent on keeping them apart. Not that it matters to Lee, he’ll hunt him down and make him his. Alkaline doesn’t do sweet. Nor vulnerable. Nor submissive. So when his lion decides that his soulmate is an alpha puma, he refuses to accept it. After all, whoever heard of two alphas mating? However, resisting Lee is harder than he ever imagined. With two men battling for dominance, who will end up on top? And will their romance survive the match? ExcerptThe beat of the music made the floor vibrate. The strobe lights flashed, creating a maddening effect. Lee lifted his arms toward the ceiling, and swayed his hips. He mouthed the words to the popular song, allowing the rhythm to wash over him and obliterate any thoughts and worries he still carried from the long day at work. The animal within him stirred. Tossing and turning, it gathered energy from the pulsing tones and climbed to the surface as if awakening from a long sleep. Lee’s blood pumped faster. His vision refocused, throwing everything into sharp contrast, from the shimmering contents of beverages in clear glasses, to the glittery eye makeup of a random stranger. The club smelled like sweat and alcohol. Bodies pressed together, swaying, moving. Glass shattered somewhere followed by a chorus of “Oh!” and loud laughter. All around, people enjoyed a night out, oblivious to anything more than what lay a few feet from them. Unaware of the hunter in their midst. Lee licked his lips. His cock twitched. It’d been too long since he’d prowled the night for a bed companion. Focused on his work as manager of the shifter bar Moon Point, sometimes he forgot to have fun, to give into his baser instincts. Normally, he’d go home, relieve himself, and fall asleep until the next day. But he was a puma, a night prowler. And tonight, after he’d closed Moon Point, he knew driving to the countryside and going for a run wouldn’t be enough. He was restless, yearning for something more which he could only describe as the need for company, for the feel of skin against skin, for the gentle caress of caring hands, if only for a few hours. It was time to hunt. Lee glanced around and caught the eye of a handsome stud with dark, puppy eyes. He grinned. The stranger looked away, then back at him, a small smile playing on his lips. Game on. Swerving his hips, Lee started to make his way toward the man and stopped. The hint of a welcoming scent caressed his senses. A desert breeze mingled with rare wildflowers. A spark lit up his core, sending a shiver of excitement through him. The top of his ears tingled. Lee spun. His heart froze, then resurged, pounding frantically. Alkaline. He’d never been formally introduced to the lion shifter, but he knew him on sight. He had to. One didn’t manage a bar in one of the seediest neighborhoods of the city without knowing the local gangs. Besides, Alkaline wasn’t exactly easy to miss. At six-foot-five, with shoulder-length red-blond hair, a matching beard, and slightly tanned skin, he stood out wherever he went. Lee watched him move. His cock twitched. There was nothing submissive about the male specimen coming in his direction, parting the crowd like some kind of god. Alkaline exuded power, force, and unbridled passion. Their gazes locked and desire rushed through him. Hell, yes. This was just what he needed. A real challenge. Lee extended his hand and Alkaline took it. The lion pulled him close with a firm tug. Hand on his waist, Alkaline guided him to the music. Lee sucked in his cheeks to keep from laughing. Hell would freeze over before he was the one following. He pushed back, forcing Alkaline to release him. Then, rolling forward, he placed his hands on Alkaline’s hips and took the lead. The lion snarled. His amber eyes flashed a warning. Lee didn’t retreat. His cock thickened inside his jeans, rubbing against the material. Abruptly, Alkaline dipped him slightly backwards, threaded his fingers in his hair and held, forcing Lee to stare at him. His puma growled. Bursting through his defenses, it forced his vision to change. It turned sharper, more attuned to the man in front of him, from the tiny wrinkles in the corner of his eyes, to the small mole above his brow, to the thin coat of sweat which made his face glisten. Alkaline glared at him. Lee’s blood pressure spiked along with his raging libido. He wouldn’t be the first to drop his gaze. He pursed his mouth. The music changed and someone slammed into them, breaking the connection. They both moved at the same time. Lips clashed. Hungry. Hard. Lee’s fingers threaded into Alkaline’s long reddish mane and Alkaline rested his hand on the nape of Lee’s neck, bringing him closer. Their tongues entwined, desperately seeking for more, until the air ran out of their lungs and they broke apart panting. For a second, they gauged each other, and Lee wondered if he looked as bewildered and as consumed by lust as the other man. Just when he was about to speak, Alkaline grabbed his hand and placed it over his erection. Lee groaned. “I need to have you, now,” Alkaline said.

Sera only wanted to find out who killed her father and what this mysterious key he left opened. It leads to a wild adventure filled with danger, potential love and heartbreaking loss. In the second book of the Night Angel Chronicles Sera faces queens bent on destruction and the ultimate questions, will she become the seventh angel?
I really enjoyed the first book Key of Mystery and I couldn’t wait to get my hands on the second story. Book of Angels starts off immediately in this paranormal world where Sera is being saved from the brink of death. She’s no longer the average teenager with homework and awkward school dances. She’s now involved with angels, queens and powerful creatures. I love the world building. The author creates a story with lots of layers. It is slow moving in some places. I love how Sera isn’t a scared girl but willing to step up and deal with the crazy coming her way. The way she deals with Peter is so sweet and yet so sad. I’ve already got the next book in my kindle ready to go. If you love stories about angels and demons, right and wrong, hope and despair, then give The Night Angel Chronicles a read! Cyborgs need love too! This is a collection of short stories by Ravon Silvius focused on men who are turned into part cyborgs in order to adjust to the new scifi world of the future. Each story is short but still packs a hell of a sexy kick.
Come to leave First Procedure Leaving Home Only Human A Brief Vacation The Meaning of Frustration My favorite story has to be Only Human. Kevin suffered from a terrible injury that left him with Cyborg legs. He can’t get used to them and is getting frustrated. Dimitri is another cyborg that’s there to help him adjust. It is a fabulous story of never giving up and the power of love. This could easily be full length stories but I love how they gave a reader just a glimpse into the authors talent. Overall, this is a great set of shorts. If you love sexy cyborgs, this collection is a highly recommended read!

About the Author:
Reading my bio, huh?
Real life sucks. I bet you feel like that sometimes, maybe even right now. Thatâs why I write fantasy. I need to escape depression, bitterness, bills, illnessâ¦I could go on, but you get it. In the pages of fiction, I can slay the dragons, triumph over the bad guys, be immortal, and never struggle with love handles. For a short time, I can let it all go, and be everything I canât be in real life. Maybe youâre hurting right now. Maybe youâre in the waiting room of the hospital, or just stuck in traffic. Iâve brought a portal. Come with meâ¦Letâs ditch this crappy popsicle stand and go somewhere great, where we can forget all this, at least for a while.
Thatâs why I write. Iâm not an author, Iâm an escape artist.
What happens if Belle is a bitch and Gaston is a sexy bad boy looking to reform? The answer is The Forest of Dark Delights by James Cox! I don’t usually read fairytale re-telling’s. They tend to be predictable and boring. Of course, I shouldn’t have expected normal from James Cox! Belle has become a terror, stealing books from towns with her mercenary army. Depressed and lonely Beast (Adam) is in the castle just as trapped as when he was the beast. Then Gaston comes around, still injured from the big fight but wanting to make amends. When these two lonely men get together it’s a complicated, lust fueled connection. Can it grow deeper? What happens when Belle returns? First take a second to appreciate that cover. It’s so gorgeous! Okay, okay. Review time. I love how the twist is Belle. She's totally terrible and greedy. Her character doesn’t make a big appearance but brief snippets that have an air of darkness. Beast is a depressed guy, who is falling out of love and doesn’t know what to do. I love his character. He’s gruff and grumpy and did I mention he’s got a dominance thing going on? Yeah, that’s right, Beast now likes to tie men up and make them scream (shivers). Gaston just wants to do the right thing. After all this time his eyes are finally open to the wrongness of villains. The romance between them is so damn hot. There is no doubt there is a 5 heat, orgasmic, cold shower, oh my God did I read that right, kind of sexy in this book. The plot is also really interesting with the evil Belle twist. The ending is a bit brief but I liked how the author wrote it. It sort of pays homage to the classic stories and sets up a happy ending that left me so satisfied. This is not your average fairytale, James Cox brings a unique twist to revive Beauty and the Beast. The Forest of Dark Delights is a must read! GiveawayTo ENTER: Comment below on why you want to read The Forest of Dark Delights by James Cox. Have you read his books before?

She learned a harsh lesson and when that asshole returns she refuses to be anything but angry. Killian is on the job when he falls in love with June. His past a lie but sometime later he finds her and his child. This Irish assassin had no idea he had a kid, let alone one with the woman he fell for completely. Can he change her mind? Will he get a second chance?
I went into this book immediately hating Killian. Judging? Yes. I hate the fact that he left her and yes, I know it was to protect her. Let me just say, by the end of the book, I love Killian. I understood why he did what he did. He’s an assassin but it’s always the criminals and creeps. Now, I’m feeling a bit bad about judging him so harshly in the beginning. This is a fabulous, sweet, sexy, dark story about Killian finding his happy ending. June is naive when she thought Killian would be hers forever, that quickly changes when he walks out on her. My heart broke for her. Raising her child, dejected, trying to move on (hugging my kindle). The story plays out beautifully. From hate to tolerating to like to love and then the danger kicks in. Romance, suspense and talented authors makes this a five-star combination! Charming Asshole is completely charming and a total must read! Wow! I’m going to attempt to write a review that will explain how much I LOVE this book. Seriously, love, boarding on stalking the author, lol.
This is a cyberpunk/steampunk world in the midst of war. Demons roam the planet and rich corporations have taken the sky. Heaven Corp is the top of the top with an army of angels to protect them. Angels with mechanical wings and bad ass skills, enter Gabriel (Gabe). When Gabriel is damage he’s plunges to the planet and he’s stuck with nothing but enemies. Jeff is a computer wiz with a daughter that the demons saved. When Jeff takes Gabe in it begins a chain of events that will rip this war wide open. How amazingly unique is this story?! I have never read anything like it. The world building is light and left to the readers imagination. At first, I was afraid it’d be too complicated and lackluster but I had no problem following the plot. The action is fantastic and well-paced. I often found myself sitting on the edge of my seat. Add that fantastic plot to a sizzling (I need a cold shower) romance and this book blew me away. The way Jeff and Gabe maneuver around everything going wrong in the world to be with each other is beautiful! I cannot wait for the next book in the series. Must read! (Now if I could just get C.C. Bridges and James Cox together, I’d Fu&^ing scream!) If you love unique stories with amazing characters then you should read Angel 1089 by C.C. Bridges!
anything to rescue his wife and stop the terrorist’s plot to blow up a nuclear power plant. Teaming up with the FBI, he’s the only man capable of stopping a bombing that will result in the deaths of millions of people. Filled with revenge, stopping the terrorists is his mission, but rescuing Layla is all that matters. Layla knows her Superman, Cyrus, is coming to save her. She also knows, unbeknownst to him, by doing so, it will mean the death of their child. Caught in a mousetrap, she struggles to find a way out of her deadly situation and to fend off the sexual advances of the kidnapper terrorist who’s fallen in love with her. Layla must make a choice, save her child or sacrifice herself and her marriage. The hunt is on. The clock is ticking. Excerpt:After dinner, while Avi settled the bill, Layla excused herself to go to the ladies’ room. She washed her hands and glanced in the mirror. A young woman pushing a wheelchair entered the restroom. The wheelchair occupant’s head was bent forward, her face hidden in the folds of a scarf. The wheelchair blocked the exit. Layla smiled at the woman who pushed the chair. “Don’t worry, take your time.” In accented English, the woman thanked her as she tried to help the invalid rise. She struggled to lift the large, unsteady, woman. “Here, let me help you.” Layla kneeled to assist and felt a prick in her leg. “Ouch!” She looked down and saw the glint of a hypodermic needle. She tried to scream, but her vocal cords seized, her protests sounded like the hissing of a snake. Oh, my God. My voice? What’s happening to me? Her legs gave out beneath her. She sank paralyzed, all her ability to control her muscles gone. She knew her eyes were bugging out of her face with terror. She tried to form the words Help me…somebody help me? Tried to wrap her lips around them, but she could hear nothing but hiss, hiss, hiss. The two women worked as a team, together they picked her up and lowered her into the chair. The woman who’d pretended to be incapacitated kneeled in front of her, unwound the scarf from her head and grinned. Layla wanted to scream, to kick, to claw the eyes that smiled, taunting her. Am I in some weird, parallel universe? The woman was a man. He ignored the soundless cries coming from Layla and reached underneath the wheelchair. When he rose, he held a briefcase. After entering a code, the briefcase snapped open. Carefully he activated a switch, and the contents came alive. He gave a satisfied nod to his accomplice and locked the case. Then he pulled a roll of duct tape from beneath the chair. Terrified, she watched him tape the briefcase behind a Demilune cabinet situated against the wall. In a frantic effort to resist she tried to move her fingers and hands, but no part of her body responded. Unable to fight, they effortlessly secured and wrapped her in a scarf and blanket. How could she have been so stupid to blow off her security? To risk everything without a thought to the danger? Her husband was a target, which made her a target. She was going to die. Poisoned and paralyzed, she was going to die, and she’d brought it on herself. All she could do was watch as the man who’d sat in the wheelchair removed the long black shroud-like cover he’d been wearing. Beneath the shroud-like garment, he wore slacks, a shirt, and a tie. He grabbed a sports jacket from beneath the wheelchair and put it on. With the transformation complete he nodded to his accomplice. The woman peeked out the door, nodded okay, and her accomplice left the ladies’ room. A minute later, the other woman wheeled Layla, her hair hidden beneath a scarf, through the dining room. She tried to scream for help when they rolled past Avi, but her body was no longer hers. He didn’t give them a second look. She saw her life pass before her. I can’t be kidnapped again. The thought that she might never see her family again filled her eyes with invisible tears. At the entrance to the restaurant, the man with shoulder-length dark hair waited, holding the door open. She was screaming, she could hear it in her head, but her cries were no more than hisses that emanated from an unfortunate woman. She managed a slight tremble, causing the wheelchair to infinitesimally shake, which only registered in the maître d’s eyes as pity. He quickly looked away and bid them goodnight. Outside, a black SUV idled at the curb. The doors swung open, and a man with wavy dark hair jumped out. The two men lifted Layla out of the wheelchair, strapping her into the car with a seat belt. Abandoning the wheelchair, the two men and the woman who’d pushed her outside, jumped in the SUV as it sped away. Her heart pounded, fear strangled her. She struggled to gain control of her body—she needed to fight the drug that immobilized her. If she had any hope of being rescued, she needed to stay vigilant. Even the smallest detail might mean the difference between life and death. Death! Am I going to die? Why is this happening? The vehicle raced away and left Ma Maison behind with a screech of rubber on the pavement. The long- haired man in the front seat turned. A wordless exchange passed between him and his accomplices. He punched numbers into a cell phone. His finger hovered over the keyboard for a second. He looked at each passenger, and they nodded their approval. He pressed a key, and a series of deafening explosions rocked Midtown Manhattan. Windows fractured up and down East 52nd Street. The deafening blare of fire alarms going off shattered the silence. She caught a brief glimpse of terror on the faces of people in the street as they whizzed past. Inside the car, the kidnappers shared a moment of excitement, their tones ominously congratulatory. It was madness. People were dead and dying, and they were doing a happy dance. For the first time in her life, she wanted to kill. She recognized the language. Farsi. They’re Iranian. A fear of a different kind crept up her spine. Kidnapped, I’m kidnapped. These monsters just blew up the restaurant and murdered innocent people, and I’m the cause. She was bludgeoned with guilt. Even the debilitative drug couldn’t prevent the tears welling in Layla’s eyes. Oh, God! Avi, all those innocent people. Was there something I could have done to avoid this? If I’d only brought my guards would it have made a difference? Or would they too have been part of the body count? Her throat felt like she was being made to swallow rusty nails. She pictured the sweet face of her daughter, Cerise. An image of Cyrus, his face fractured with pain, tore a wrenching cry from her. The startled kidnappers began arguing. When Layla saw the women remove another hypodermic from her bag, she struggled to twist away. A scream pierced the air. Her scream. Her vocal chords pushed against her throat. The needle punctured her skin, and she howled like a banshee. The effect was immediate. Consciousness withdrew. A black curtain came down over her eyes.

Prize List book: Mary Andrea met her book cover model Yushka in The Perfect Shoot. This story takes place after they’ve returned from the professional turned sexual trip. Can their romance survive in the challenges of everyday life?
Relationships are often two people trying to figure out how to blend their lives, it’s not different for Andrea and Yushka. I love how the author added so many obstacles between them that felt very believable. The way they navigated the minefield thrown before them is entertaining, not to mention, very hot. Did I mention how hot this story is? Yum! As much as I enjoyed the first story this one is much more complicated and organic. Emotions are high. Sex is fantastic. But will it all lead to their happy ending? It is truly a pleasure to have read Mine to Love! "Be careful who you love, it just might kill you."
Sera’s father is killed, leaving behind a key. Suddenly her father death is not an accident and angels appear with strange talk of protecting her. When powers start manifesting Sera knows she has to find out the truth, whatever that may be. This book begins with a Los Angeles Time story that is really creeping. Instantly I am hooked on the plot! I feel so bad for Sera’s family. Not only did they lose their father but he left them in debt. Her brother’s being a jerk and her mother’s losing it. After all that, these creatures are coming out of the shadows and they all seemed to be aimed toward her. Sera is a phenomenal character. She’s eighteen and handles herself realistically. She tries to be brave but that doesn’t always work. I like that so much about her. As this new world begins to take terrifying shape she meets Peter. Peter is cold at first and very secretive. I like how he thaws as the story progresses, even though he still has those moments where I want to slap the back of his head. This story has excellent characters and a unique, if sometimes slow, plot. I’m excited to read the next book! |
