She wants to expose all of the evils being done, and has made a name for herself with best-selling books doing just that. Five years ago she was kidnapped by the Taliban in Afghanistan, and figured her time had run out. But a team of Navy Seals took on the very dangerous assignment to rescue her. And while she was waiting for the helicopter, in a cave with one of the Seals, she obeyed her instincts and had a hot, steamy interlude with that man. Then she never saw him again.

John "Rocket" Hardin is the Navy Seal who was in the cave with Mallory--a fact that his dreams have never let him forget. Five years later, he's now an ex-Seal, but he and his buddies formed a top secret organization that's the last resort when impossible things need to be done. When a US Senator calls him seeking his services, he's initially going to refuse. He and his buds haven't even had a chance to shower from their last assignment. But Senator Alicia Kane she tells him that her sister, Mallory Kane is in huge trouble and she's moved heaven and earth to get his contact information to engage his services. Rocket tries to ignore his hard cock, but the little brain in it is a large part of why he agrees to take on this near-impossible mission.

I would have liked to learn more about each of these characters. Sure, Mallory likes danger--so much so that it turned her on to be rescued, and led to mind-blowing sex with one of the Seals who saved her butt. But why? Is she an adrenaline junkie? If so, I'm not sure that settling down with any man, staying in any one place, is going to make her happy. She hints that she's proving herself, but she never gets around to revealing to whom, or why. Rocket has major hots for Mallory, but knows almost nothing about her--and she knows as little about him. He doesn't even tell her how he got his nickname. Good sex is an important part of a good relationship--but it can't be the only thing.

Speaking of sex, there are a few very hot scenes, despite--or maybe because of--all of the dangerous situations they get into. Their scorching hot desire for each other is steamy to read! My only complaint is that during their first encounter, she's been held captive for who knows how long, by the Taliban. No doubt she's not been allowed to brush her teeth or shower. In fact, she's probably been forced to use whatever primitive bathroom facilities are available--if there even are any. Yet Rocket is so turned on by her that he's gung-ho to perform oral sex on her, and raves about how delicious she smells and tastes. Um--yeah. At least when he rescues her the second time, she's been showering occasionally.

And the drug-lord bad guys on Santa Marita, the island she's been scoping out for her next book, talk a good game about how truly evil they are--but end up being paper tigers. The ending is a bit too convenient, as if now that the besotted couple is reunited, there's no need for any more trouble on the island. Everything is settled in the happy ending. But I can't help wondering how long it will take before Mallory sneaks away to another hot spot for her next book. Good thing her man is in the rescue business.

Claire and Ty are looking for one thing, a night of amazing sex. No strings attached. No hurt feelings. Just pure lust and release. Of course, they don’t get that. Instead, they keep thinking about each other long after their night ends.

I liked Claire. She was sweet with a good head on her shoulders. She a romance author who hasn’t found her perfect man. Ty is definitely harder to like. The beginning was rough because I wouldn’t blame her if she walked right out on him. Once we find out about his past and his life then things make more sense. He changes, growing once he knows the love of a woman like Claire. The sex is steaming with some one liners that made me smile. As the last few chapters came around, I was routing for Claire and Ty. They’re happy ending was beautiful and worth the wait.

Complete Me is a highly recommended Read!

An emotional roller-coaster would be the best way to describe this book. From Cayme’s mother dying to Rick’s divorce and trying to take care of his son. I really liked their romance. It was a second chance for them and I felt the connection they had. His son is eight and adorable. I liked the relationship between the three of them and navigating things in this difficult world. There’s some action with the floodwaters that helps break up the romance and the heartbreak. My only issue was the editing, it’s a bit rough.

Into Something Good was a wonderfully emotional story!

This is an older couple romance. Oliver is in love, too bad he only knows this woman’s first name. He’s determined to find her no matter the cost.

A one-night stand leaves a lasting impression on both Oliver and Simone. However, once morning comes, they’re parted and that loss is felt to their souls. Oliver is a millionaire and he uses every resource he can to find this woman. At fifty-one he knows what he wants and he’s determined to get it. I felt his frustration when things didn’t pan out and the joy when he finally found her. Simone is equally as enamored by him so their romance is a sweet connection. I definitely wasn’t expecting the baby part with her being forty-six. The romance and falling in love was a little too fast for my taste. We start the book right when he’s searching for her so I didn’t get the intensity between them. As the book continues, they do learn and grow with each other. The action was a bit slim and the fact that Simone believed everything she was told was a bit simple. I did like how this was an older pairing dealing with new love and a child.

Jason Hofstadter has spent many years attending the Four States Annual Scrabble championships in Omaha. In fact, last year he made it up to number two! He aims to score higher this year. But that leads to the second reason he attends to score in bed with a likely candidate. He has to be careful about whom he chooses to approach, since approaching a homophobic man could get him thrown out of the tournament. But using his "gaydar," he's always managed to have successful, if totally forgettable one or two-night stands with a different guy every year. He has no reason to think that this year will be any different.

When Jason sees a young man sitting by himself, peering through his thick glasses at lists he's obviously memorizing, Jason approaches him, asking if it's his first championship. The man's sexy smile makes him harden, and when the young man glances at his crotch, he's sure he's met this year's choice. Matt Sawyer is just what Jason looks for in a man. They do some flirting, exchange some words, and before long, Jason is sucking the younger man off in a uni-sex bathroom in a Starbucks. This leads to more varied exploration of each other in Matt's room. Jason is surprised when Matt brings out a paddle and some restraints which he asks shyly if Jason will used on him. Seems Matt's dom passed on a couple of years ago, and Matt's been waiting a long time to find someone new to take his place. But Jason has never been into the BDSM scene. He's never even held a paddle. Will he enjoy it, or will his fear that he's hurting the other man make him too anxious to enjoy it?

This is a quick read and I was disappointed when it ended. I grew to really like Matt--and Jason has possibilities of growing into being the new dom that Matt craves so desperately. Or Jason might just return to being the unrepentant horn-dog that he was in the first chapter. I want to know which way things will end between them! But the story ends on a HFN note, and one can only hope about which direction their budding relationship will go.

Duncan is a former football player. He agrees, reluctantly, to do a documentary by a beautiful journalist, Olivia. He doesn’t like her digging into his past and what he likes even less is the feelings growing between them.

They both have a past relationship that screws them up. I think that’s very realistic and it makes their behavior completely understandable. I like how they grow though. It starts with hostility and ends with romance. I’m not a fan of Football since the whole Michael Vick thing. If you enjoy football though, you’ll be sure to relish the details the authors write. There is a bit of repetition that threw me out of the story a few times. The romance is super hot and sexy. I really think the authors did a great job with the sex scenes. Duncan really had a manly, delicious way about him. I really liked that ending too!

Numbers Game is a great romance circling around football. I’d highly recommend it!

Nickolas Steele has just left the brotherhood of being a SEAL. He's spent many years thinking he has no heart, because he lost his parents and sibling years ago to a car crash, right after he enlisted. Since it's been so long since he's had any, sex is on his mind when he stops for gas. He sees a blonde woman who instantly gets his blood pounding, so he tries flirting with her. Since she rebuffs him in a flirting manner, he's intrigued. She bounces on her feet as if filled with excess energy, so he mentally nicknames her Tigger. He's only interested in the fact that his tab A will fit into her slot B, and wants that to happen ASAP--so he can get back to traveling to the island.

Thea Gale is a woman on a mission. Unfortunately, there is a tornado headed their way, and once she drives away from the gas station, she gets caught in it. Half of the station lands on her, and she's knocked unconscious. When she awakens, there's a tough-looking man pulling the debris off her, and he quickly assesses her physical injuries, deciding that she's got a concussion along with other things. But when he offers to take her to a hospital, she responds with terror. Seems she's lost any memory of who she is, but she does know that she can't go to the police or to a hospital. Luckily Nik was trained to be a medic. But he's in a quandary. Take her to get the treatment she needs? Or take her to somewhere safe, so he can figure out the mystery she represents? And why is her large dog so protective of her, almost as if he's had military training?

This story was slow to start, but once it got going, it was heart-pounding action for the rest of the book. I didn't like Nik at first, since he viewed females only as vessels for his physical needs. Thea brings out his protective urges along with making him so physically uncomfortable it's surprising he can wear pants around her at all! There are alternating viewpoints, so we learn that she's as attracted to him as he is to her but she's not sure if she can trust him. And he's trying to be a gentleman, for reasons even he doesn't understand. As her story is slowly revealed, she still doesn't get her memory back. But she does know that she's falling in love with the man who has the killer body she lusts after. When he discovers she's still a virgin at 25, he's even more determined to let her take the lead--which she does. They really only do the deed once where the reader gets to enjoy it along with them--and it's her first time, so not really that enjoyable for her. The other incidents of that night are only referred to. Frankly, after all of the build-up, I wanted a whole lot more steamy sex between these two! The story has a satisfying ending, and definitely hints at sequels that will involve Nik's sexy ex-SEAL bro, as well as that guy's equally sexy brother. Maybe they will get to have more sex we can enjoy along with them? I sure hope so!

Ever does not want a relationship. I totally get how she feels. Dating now a days seems so much harder than it was back when I was in my twenties. I think she has a good, solid head on her shoulders in terms of men and I like how she’s fighting her feelings for Matt. Girl, you are so going to fall hard! As Matt tries to find out who burned down his house, he’d determined to get Ever to change her mind. They are in fact dating. I also loved the mystery of what happened to Matt’s house. This adds a nice break from the romance.

I absolutely love this book. It’s exactly what I am in the mood for, a nice beach read or sitting on the deck with lemonade, kind of read. Wonderful, heartfelt characters and a talented writer makes Definitely Not Dating a must read!

What a tear jerker!! Cole is just broken, both body and spirit. He feels like his whole life has fallen apart and I feel terrible for him. Hope, the woman he loves is initially hurt by his rejection but then she finds out about his accident and she’s heartbroken. Why didn't he let her help? How could he think she wouldn’t still love him? This was such a sweet, emotion ride and I really enjoyed to the end.

In this book, Leah has a problem many women would envy. She has two men madly in love with her, and she returns the feelings to both of them, with a fervor that scares her in its intensity. She's still totally in love with her husband of ten years, the artist Daniel, who swept her off her feet with romantic gestures and trips that bound them together for an eternity but she doesn't get everything she needs from him. A part of her craves being dominated, and Daniel isn't that kind of man. Greg is. She was his sub for quite a while, beginning when she was very young and thought that would be enough for her. It wasn't.

What I adore about Lisabet Sarai's writing is that you feel what the main character is feeling, and think her thoughts. This immediacy makes for engrossing reading. Once the conflict is established, you have to keep reading to see how it will end. Now she's convinced both men that living in the same house with her is the perfect solution. Except for them, it isn't. They're jealous of each other, moody and irritable when she mentions the other man to them and being unable to choose between them is tearing her apart. So she runs away from both of them, with no destination in mind. She finally remembers an inn she stayed at with Daniel once, and heads up to the relaxation of the quiet to be found at the inn in Maine during the off-season. How will the men react to being in the house without her? And how will she ever decide between them?

This isn't quite as steamy as Sarai's usual, but the heroine spends most of the book away from her lovers. There is a steamy menage scene that makes the reader feel as if it might be possible to love two men at once. Phew!
