After five years of taking care of her ill mother Kelly finds herself at a loss after her death. Unsure of where to begin to move forward she’s falls into a funk until her best friend and co-worker shows up and whips her back into shape. Her first step back into life is a new facebook account. With a little courage and a bit of luck her friend request to child hood crush Brandon is accepted and a connection is made.
Brandon is newly divorced, and ready to explore life on his own. He remembers the red headed girl with bright green eyes vividly. One message leads to another and as the excitement builds he begins to consider she may be the truth path to his happily ever after.
The connection of two hearts, regardless of distance or obstacles that may block their way. Ms. Chevrestt had me so engulfed in the world she created I read this book in one sitting. The lead heroine Kelly was an inspiration as she overcame childhood bullying, and the preconceived notions of what it means to be a person with hearing impairment. I learned new things as I fell in love with Kelly and her beau Brandon who was a once a school girl crush. Their romance was honest, and sweet; but it didn’t lack in passion. If you haven’t read this one yet, I highly recommend you pick it up.
A Facebook Affair really reminds us what true love is all about.
