This story grabs you on page one and doesn’t let go for two hundred plus pages. A great five star read. Cain is a PI in Los Angeles, and the character's straight out of the old black and white detective comics, with one slight difference, he’s gay. Cain’s hired to find her husband by a beautiful lady, Camille, and a missing wooden carving. But, in this story nothing can be taken at face value.
There are multiple twists and turns as Cain digs into the case, Camille turns out to be a cross-dressing female impersonator, Ryan. There are very descriptive sections highlighting Hollywood, over-the-top mansions, hotels and a burlesque club. Against all rules, Ryan and Cain have explosive sex. Is it love or simple lust? You will have to read to the end to find out. Add plenty of gruesome murders and fight scenes for a sexy, bumpy ride as you’re led down one blind alley after another.
The man on man sex is…I can only think of one word…HOT, but it doesn’t overshadow the story. I can definitely recommend this story—a great read.
