Straight-laced principal Kira isn’t looking for love, especially not right after getting dumped. Then a chance encounter leads her to Jesse, and damned if she isn’t drawn to the bad-boy with a heart of gold. A night of reckless abandon leaves her confused. their secrets tear apart their new found feelings or can they find true love and prove that opposites can get their happily ever after?
From the first page Seleste Delaney takes you on a ride of lust and love. From the mythical Mount Olympus to our earthly world where humans really do need to learn about love and lust. Kira and Jesse are two people from the opposite sides of the "tracks" who are drawn to one another. They have both been hurt and abused by shallow relationships, yet they still hope for a "forever" kind of love. The plot was solid and close to how real relationships can be which made the story relateable and enjoyable. I loved the openness and honesty. As well as how they worked out their feelings and emotions towards one another.
This is a short read and I was able to finish it in one sitting as the pace was smooth and concise. I am definitely looking forward to the next installment of Cupids
Conquests because Eros definitely has his work cut out for him.
