Heat: 4 handcuffs - An erotic ride.
This book is filled with over-blown, larger than life, flamboyant characters and situations. The various Dragos relatives on both the "good" and bad sides of the family are hysterical, especially Zelda's dead grandmother that is both training her to be a demon slayer and matchmaking! Derek has plenty of his own secrets, and as the two are thrown together repeatedly, his seem to balance out hers. Zelda is a trouble magnet and spends most of the book trying to fight away from being a pawn in the games being played; she wants to be her
own player, independent, etc., but finally faces her own shortcomings.
Be prepared for evil ghosts, demons,a virgin sacrifice, sarcasm, and a heroine with a love of Godiva chocolate. (One of my favorites scenes contains a whole new meaning to the phrase "Death by Chocolate!".) This romp of a story has a bit of a Indiana Jones meets Buffy the Vampire Slayer feel to it and balances the dangerous situations well with humor.
