The chemistry between Jackie and Mark is instant when they meet in the local Office Depot. Neither one knows that they are about to be set up by a mutual friend. Neither one is looking for love. The obstacles they face include Jackie’s ex-husband, her oldest son not liking Mark, her youngest son and Mark’s oldest daughter dating, however, the biggest obstacle they have to face is Jackie’s insecurities.
It’s hard for me to relate to this story because I am not yet the age of the
characters in this story, however, I do have a semi blended family and I am the
mother of a teenager girl. Those are the only things that I can relate to in
This book is romantic and entertaining. I can not recommend this book to
anyone that is under the age of “Thirty- Twelve” without warning them that they
may not be able to understand the complexities of aging and learning to love
